The problem I am having is that the other week I noticed that 2 out of 6 of my plants have got spidermites

I immediatley binned all the plants (only a week into flower thank god). I then stripped my room out, vacummed and sprayed with some fairly non-toxic spider mite poison for plants which I put into my 5litre Hozelock sprayer and soacked the entire room.
I have a chipboard floor and was wondering if there was some type of poison that would ensure that I get the eggs and anything else that needs killing.

If anyone could send me a link or tell me where I can get some seriously strong/good stuff from ?.

I'm also gonna get some good plastic sheeting for my floor space aswell.

bloody hell! Thats an extreme method of dealing with the buggers!!!

If you are determined to ensure that none have survived I would suggest carpet bombing with Nepalm - Mites cant survive in temperatures above 35C so you should get them.

Hi mate, what is "abamectin" ? What does it do and were can I buy it ? Also I transfered 3 of the plants to the back garden, so all is not lost

i had a spider mite infection recently, blockout is organic, it kills the eggs and the mites. add 20ml to 75ml water.

Abamectin is the active ingredient in the Bug Attack + Defence from Westland that i linked to, be sure to not use it in flower tho.

hi, i had a problem with spider mites on a previous crop, i bought neem repel which is organic too and works on a few pests and problems not just mites. i have had excellent results with this stuff, i also use it as preventative, SP

I haave spidermites too, i got it 2weeks ago. Over the last two weeks i have sprayed the plants under 3weeks flowering and vegging with SMC, this has kept the numbers down but not killed of the borg.

From what i have been reading Westland A+D, its active ingredient is Abamectin; kills of the borg very quickly, it is prolly one of the best options for plants in veg, but do not use in flower it contans Thiamethoxam. I have found that Felix Also recommends Harkers Harka Mectin, its active ingredient is Ivermectin(same family as Abamectin) he recommends only to use it with 4+weeks to spare of flowering to go. I think this is the better option as you can use it for veg too.. it comes in 5ml bottle, solution mix .5ml/1L, so will last.

I will be ordering tomorrow. You can pick up from pet stores.
