Last one of a side on shot of the sog/scrogg type thing

bit worried about the height these may end up as i have not used a 600 in that space.
The blackwidow in the back has really started to stretch so i will supercrop those to slow em down and maybe move the branches about a little.

Looking awesome Djay!
I've got some of the IG B's buds to supercrop, they're about 8" above the net on the left side, just kinda outgrew it,

, 2" a day is insane!
Anyway, supercropping to control height sounds awesome!
Keep up the good work mate, they all look the picture of health!

djay
Oct 3 2009, 10:33 PM
And now a shot of them 12 days into flower, i am amazed at how much they have come on in only a few days.
djay
Oct 3 2009, 10:36 PM
Now a few forming budshots in no various order.
first some IcedGrapefruit
djay
Oct 3 2009, 10:39 PM
And a top shot of the same bud i think
djay
Oct 3 2009, 10:42 PM
And this one is my second icedGrapefruit sitting at the back she is no where near as stretchy as the other one which is good coz i cant reach in far enough to train her at all so i let her go wild after a week and a bit.
djay
Oct 3 2009, 10:46 PM
And now for my only Blackwidow sitting at the back right of the tent , she is stretching to bits and again i cant reach the bloody thing to tie her down so i done a little supercropping which slowed her down a little.
All these have only had 1 feed of 1ml grow 1ml bloom also 1ml bioheaven and 1ml topmax all per 2 ltr of water and being fed around 3-4 days when pots get light.

Oct 8 2009, 10:19 PM
update 17 days 12/12 there still under the mh but will swap to the hps around 21 days or so when most of the stretch is over, i know a few people say hps/mh makes no difference to the overall stretch of the plants but allways done it this way so may as well keep on with it.
djay
Oct 8 2009, 10:22 PM
there about 8-10inch above the screen now and all fairly uniform not so much a scrogg more a scroggsog sorta thing

bit more organized than the other one but still not ideal.
djay
Oct 8 2009, 10:25 PM
before they were fed i gave them a half descent trim below and got rid of most of the shoots that were not going to reach much above the net.
they were then fed 1.5ml bloom 1ml topmax 1ml bioheaven and 1ml grow per ltr of water and were given 4ltrs per pot.
djay
Oct 8 2009, 10:28 PM
few shots of Grapefruit first the back one i think i need a better zoom lens but not got the cash so this is as good as it gets till the macro goes on.
djay
Oct 8 2009, 10:29 PM
And the other Grapefruit at the front
djay
Oct 8 2009, 10:31 PM

djay
Oct 8 2009, 10:33 PM

djay
Oct 8 2009, 10:34 PM

Weedio
Oct 8 2009, 10:35 PM
Look alot like mine mate, just watered them and tomorrow will be day 21 flower.
One is really smelling of grapefruit, they both absolutely stink! My black widow is suffering a bit from it's MG incident i think but it's alright.
Lovely look plants dude, so so healthy!
I think the MG does keep 'em compact they seem more compact than mine anyhoo.

Nice stock btw that Bubelgumer is most intriging along with Grapefruit and 5 seeds only 2oE .That strain is going in as soon i find some space

Well i start out doing a proper scrogg then i end up not training enough at the back and so they get a little wild , really i should tie them or weave them through the holes but i do like large cola's as well

so this way you seem to get a nice even sorta canopy but then there still around 10+ inch tall so you get a nice set of colas on each one.
Although i dunno if this would work with any other shade as i use a mini grostar but i reckon any parabolic would do the same.

What you reckon about the flowering times of the black widow djay , 9- 10 weeks , got one at 9 weeks today and its still got white pistals ?
djay
Oct 12 2009, 10:39 PM
erm i think i gave mine around 9.5 weeks last time best way is to go via the trichombes rather than pistols i think she could of gone to around 10 maybe even 11 if you wanted mostly amber trichs, although around 9-10 gives a nice strong stone that really puts you on you're arse for a while

Got any photo's of her herbit ?

Oct 20 2009, 11:52 PM
Well its been a while and the hps is doing my head in for photo's so i thought i get a few done just after lights off so here goes

first up a group shot at 28days 12/12 so many different smells going on its unreal.
djay
Oct 20 2009, 11:54 PM
And now a nice forming Icedgrapefruit bud from the front of the net this has a wierd pepper pineapple sort of smell with a little bubblehash oil hint as well mad.
Leaves slightly twisting so i need to lay of the nutes a bit i think at the moment there getting 4mil bloom 1.5 mil grow 3 mil topmax and 2mil bioheaven per 2ltr of water and there taking 4ltr every 3-4 days.
djay
Oct 21 2009, 12:00 AM
Now some blackwidow in the back she is much slower to flower and will no doubt take a bit longer to finish off but the smoke is well worth the time if i rmbr correctly, this one seems a bit more sat inclined than my last lot so i'll just have to wait it out with her.
djay
Oct 21 2009, 12:02 AM
And now for some Grapefruit

looking forward to this one

she is filing out nicely.
djay
Oct 21 2009, 12:03 AM
Bit closer and again you can see slight leaf twist nutes nutes nutes

must learn not to over feed less is more....
djay
Oct 21 2009, 12:06 AM
And here is my rather fine smelling Bubblegummer she is slower than the icedgf and the gf but i was kind of expecting that with her.
Have to say it's hard using a 600 from a 400 i think i got the light a little close early on so some slight bleaching occurred but it's now around a foot and a half or so away so hopefully that's fine.

I chopped a couple of days ago, so i will be able too tell you real soon...no sneakies, course i have full stashboxes atm

....harvested some bubblegummer clones some time ago, and they are pulling me over till the grapes are dry

but damn they all smell fantastic, but 1 pheno expecialy i have high hopes for. i will update my thread with a smoke report soon

Few various shots 35 days into flower first up some black widow which as you can see is going to take a long time to flower out and wont yield much at all i don't think but time will tell.
djay
Oct 27 2009, 10:55 PM
I have to say this is the pheno i would of preferred not to have as it takes much longer to finish off than the more indica one but that's the joys of seeds sometimes
djay
Oct 27 2009, 10:59 PM
And now for my fave pheno of bubblegumer this one is super sweet more sativa leaning than the others and has a much stronger taste and expansive smoke than the more indica one, the calyxes seem to take forever to fill out bud the buds dry very hard and tight and she yields very nicely.
djay
Oct 27 2009, 11:00 PM
And a group canopy shot of bubblegummer
