yeah man, soon enough yamatoka. once the majority of the pistils have turned brown is usually when i chop. if you're looking at trichs, i'd say that when you can see maybe 1 in 10 or 1 in 15 of them amber it's time to come down.

I have read some strains don't turn amber, but I know your right when you say these need longer. I had to pull a heavily seeded hermie (smokin now) 2 day ago and it needs more time (works a bit thou). This n00b is worried about thc degrading - I'll be checkin with everyone a week tmw (week 9 ) Thanks PW

the bud top right of pic is the same bud in post 5 - see the weight gain ? So good advice b4 PW

hard to say really mate but they look like nice little ladys

most buds look as mature as the one in the bottom left of pic - all trichs milky. The larger buds left and right of pic still throwing out some pistals got some slight seedage - seeds are mature . .

Dunno I like to get "high" so I never leave it superlong. Thats the main problem with all the shit street weed.

thou too early can be very heady/anxiety high (read here somewhere) thou mine are past that stage i reckon (1st grow) most/all trichs milky

Chop it, GHSC genetics seem to throw white pistils out forever if you let them. Nice looking buds mate congratulations, time to enjoy them:)

just had a m8 do a ghs t/wreck and they took a good 10 weeks to finish till there was any amber thrics

mgm I'm waiting till lights on at 6. Not sure whether to crop buds that have 90/100% milky trichs then leave remaining buds, (thanks for the idea Jiffa). I deserve a fookin medal sat in the house all day scisssors in hand and not chopping. That one big bud I keep photographing, showed significant weight gain from around week 10 till now (week 11) so I'm not keen on losing out on any yield.

SBFUC - mine may take longer than yr mates as I did too much topping and supercropping in flower most likely stressing the shite out of em. I think I might have the odd amber trich, or they might be damaged trichs (muddy not amber)

As you knw now Mono I bottled croppin 4 now - I'll see in 90 mins.

Can I assume it's ok to crop the buds I think are ready, leaving the others till they stop chucking out pistals (just after a second opinion j no offense )

I've seen plenty of people chop the main cola or canopy level buds, and leaving the rest (bottom) part of the plant to finish off for another week or something. So I don't see why you can't do it!

Personally, I like to chop everything at once and hang everything at once, so it can all be dried and thrown into jars at the same time. So if I was in your shoes, I'd probably leave them all in there for another 7 days max!

The buds are really swollen aswell, very nice plants they are. Nicely done dude!
