just put on win7 a few days ago and it been droping the connection at frequent but random intervals(from 2 - 10 mins and above if im lucky). It reconnects everytime i hit the troubleshoot button and comes back with a faulty connection to the wirless adapter claim(which it isn't). Anyone ant ideas, my xbox never drops its connection but thats hard wired. I'm using a belkin N router 6 monthsish old
Thanks

Could be a driver problem, check you have got the latest.

10-4.
I have a similar problem, as a W7 wired connection user, albiet not as regular as you. For me it only happens on start up following an update. I have to disable LAN (as 2 networks are showing, home & UI public) then trouble shoot reconnect LAN and establish connection.
Like you said it could be a driver issue, especially if your gettting DC regularly. If its always following an update I wouldnt worry too much...

I've noticed this is common. I'm running the legit RC Windows 7 and it's connectivity often goes slow-fast, drop-pickup; both on my i7 PC as well as my partner's AM2 dual-core system. It's also a common problem on online fora and knowledge bases. I am hoping that by the time we get to Service Pack 9 it'll get handled...
