Dont know about GHSC but mr mullen grew lemon skunk from DNA genetics and they were outstanding looking plants, but i dont think GHSC will be the same.
SIS
what makes u say that about GHSC? i thought that the Lemon Skunk was their strain

I dont think so mate, there dont really have a good rep around here, greenhouse that is not the lemon skunk, i meant they wont be the same as Mr Mullens as his were from DNA not GHSC
smoketilluchoke
greenhouse bought them from DNA
SIS
I hope the beans are good then. I thought GSHC had a fairly decent rep.

But if the bought the strain off DNA then they should be ok.

They may well fine mate hopefully they are but in future i would say got to the companies that they rob the genetics from as this way you will get the proper genetics thumbsup.gif

Grown once, v.sticky, coated in resin, stunning citrus smell, good yield, no hermies (pack 10 fem) and an all round potent smoke, and that was in soil smile.gif
Grimble Grumble
It is very nice, very lemon, but to me its all Super silver haze in the taste, alot like Amnesia haze.

My GHSC Lemon Skunk turned out really nice, only one seed from a mix pack tho, as Grimble Grumble said really lemony but tasted hazy like Amnesia/Silver Haze spliff.gif

I would do this strain again for sure.

I was very surprised with my first l/s grow from GHS it was a nice smoke not the strongest, but it made up for that with flavour and taste, very easy to grow and take cuttings from.

I have a bonzi mother of 8 months now and have just taken another 10 cuttings from her .

so yeah nice easy smoke and a thumbs up from me ............... 8/10 cool.gif

not long of a ghs lemon skunk, and its very smelly ,i smoked it in there c/shop in the dam myself and was very impressed, but it was the clone of the best mum obviously or of the mum they got of dna? but i have 5 near the chop and they stink of lemon and lime, only 2 smell like lemon ,and the other 3 smell more like lime skunk, the yeild is ok on the 2 but not so good on the other 3,just pik the best as ya mother plant. they have lots of resin to:B): stoned.gif

Exactly my experience. easy to keep mother, easy to take cuttings, fantastic lemon taste in the smoke and the smell is like Lemon incense! I smoked some ten minutes ago and the smell is still really intense in the air. The high on mine is fairly "in one's face" to begin with, rushy and buzzy, then mellows to a real conversational chatty high. I love this bud. I hope my mummy lives for many moons!

Well if you read through you got one lad talking about "robbed" genetics and saying that they have a bad rep and everyone else who has actually got some experience with this strain saying they are good. So make your own mind up, do they have a bad rep or is it one man thats never grown them just spouting pish because he thinks it's the popular thing to do...

BTW I have 5 LS on a mixed NFT table that got Pythium and the LS by far have shown the best resistance.
Easy to take cuttings from, nice structure too, can trim the sides for SOG or let it branch for SCROG, it puts up with either quite well although it doesn;t seem to like high temps at the end of flower, the nuggets loosen up a but under high heat so watch the lights smile.gif

I have been growing a variety of GH and with the exception of big bang which small and too prone to bud rot I have allways got really top results from them . Specially the cheese(2 and1/2 oz from one single bitch or should I say lovely darling lady)
Jack?
last grow was LS from gh. Real nice taste and smell and uplifting high. cheap seeds and nice plants
scraglor
GHS don't have a bad rep for 'their' strains per se, it's their business ethics that have earned them a bad rep, and their strains are good because they steal or buy most of their genetics in. their are more than a few threads regarding GHS on the boards. only ever grown their white widow myself, 2 of 5 germed, both very indica pheno's, really good tight dense buds, but prefer the more sativa WW pheno's i've tried
mrweed
Got one on the go at the moment, much smaller and skinnier than my other plants but smells fuckin' lovely!!!! wink.gif

Perfect Haze
Any of you lemon skunk growers remember how long you left them after the switch? I've heard they are 9 weekers, 5 to go and they are already fookin huge biggrin.gif biggrin.gif
cap-pugwash
I have just finished one in 9 weeks after 4 weeks veg,I have had cuttings finish in seven weeks and one plant 11 weeks. its well worth the wait very popular with my mates.
dogzilla
After reading this I've just ordered some smile.gif
ripthedrift

mine are always over the 9 week mark .... give or take a few days cool.gif
hantshaze
there both very good wink.gif thumbsup.gif

a pick for ya.

Lemon haze on the left and lemon skunk. Both from ghsc.

And theres a lot of dif in buz.

The ls hits you in the guts, if ya no what i mean and then works its way to ya head. Proppa stoned fealing.

The lemon haze is my no1 of the 2.

Nice strong very clear up up high. Mmmmmmm.

For the money and price I would'nt diss um.

Hantshaze......
