Hi

I've made oil with an iso wash, did the cafetiere bho extraction and now I'm wondering if you can combine the two.

Because I don't have a lot of iso and I only have one can of butane, I'd try to mix them. The plan would be to do a bho run right after the iso wash while the trim is still damp from the alcohol. That's mixing two highly flammable substances and I wonder how dangerous that is. Would any of you try it?

there is every chance the trim wasnt great in the first place, thats why the run doesnt look great so doing a butane run may not produce as much as your thinking. i aint no master when it comes to making oil though so dont take my word for it

if it was me i personally wouldn't do it, sounds dodgy!!!!


sorry mate, read your post wrong!!! if you mean starting it from scratch then mixing half way through then NO!!!

Guess I'd better let all the iso evaporate before I use the butane.

it was a great smoke, well worth it.
planning on trying BHO next though so it will be interesting to see how you get on... keep us posted

the only gripe is they blades, get a bit sticky and sore on the fingers

Surely it wont work that way round, iso will extract more than butane so there will be nothing left after a qwiso. Also you need a flexible blade like the old razor blades or you will miss loads.

surely wearing gloves will stop the stickyness but my poor little fingers are bound to still get stingy after a bit still???

One tip for you get yourself a square glass dish its 100 times easier to scrape the Oil out around the edges of the dish.I found when I used a round one once you could never quite get every last bit of Oil out from the edges as the blade wasn't flush on the glass

cheers lennon, planning on getting a square pyrex dish shotly-ish. know what you mean about getting the oil from the round edges, i could never get every last bit and i hate to waste thc - however small
