i thought i would let you all know of a great deal i got today
iam on a site called FREECYCLE.ORG
the principal of the site is to stop stuff going to landfill and must be given away free of charge, my kind of site really
you know if you get a new fridge and the old one works fine, and if you knew anybody who was looking for one could get. i would rather sombody got the use of it rathar than put it in the bin . well thats how it works
you can ask for things too. i asked for a propagater this afternoon and i got one tonight electric too,,,superb
i think its yahoo sites . not too sure

but hey if your a bit scratchy at the moment with the credit crunch, and need something? well no harm in asking as they say

thought i would pass this info on to you guys as money is always an issue

I used to work at a council tip and it really is criminal the amount of good stuff that goes to landfill. I really like the idea of this site.

Worth it though, I can't beleive there are not more ppl using freecycle

Awesome place to browse when designing a grow room

If you no nothing of freecycle, join up now you won't regret it

In fact maybe one day in the future I am confident I can do a diary with a grow room made from freecycle finds, ok there would be a little outlay for nutes etc, and can't see I'm gonna get hold of a carbon filter from there or a HPS biggrin.gif but the room itself of even a loft conversion could be done for free and there are always wardrobes coming up as long as your willing to collect the stuff.

Just thought this thread was well worth a bump for anyone who has missed it

Great idea, but I found it a pain to use.
