Hi All

Looking to build a stealth vegging cabinet and looking at the lighting most people use 6400k/blue envirolites.

These are out of my budget atm and i was wondering is there a cheaper alternative ie using x4 normal energy savers.

Most are 2700k red though but i have seem some 6000k ones but at lower wattages.

I am looking to do 8/10 plants at a time.

Cheers

Energy savers are fine mate, but as you say the 6000k are better for vegging, although I guess both will work.

8-10 plants i would use about 8 energy savers. i had 11 plants under 4 energy savers (long story) and they did fine up until they were about 3 ft though i really should of used more bulbs

e2a . friend of mine grew 4 plants entirely under 8 bulbs and got VERY good results, i was very surprised to say the least
