mine's in an xbox 1 case.. two 80mm fans on one side pulling air through the case (yate loon @7v) and a couple of 120x120x15mm fans mounted over the motherboard. other than that, a few added heatsinks, some arctic silver 5, it's standard. This is sat on top of my.. quite modified Xbox1- custom addon IC *ahem* + display, 500gb hd, 128mb ram (extra 64mb soldered to board), linux, xbmc, vga port mod, advance a/v with coaxial digital out, custom painted case, translucent (frosted) backlit jewel, internal lighting, and a PWR-OFF switch on one of my (backlit crystal) s-pads. New bi-colour LEDs, LAN-ACT and HD-ACT LED's (pre-display), aluminium vandal-proof buttons on front panel, M$ remote, usb keyboard(laptop size) and an old chic optical mouse. cost me about £25 to do - got lucky on a dead xbox with the xec+display, used its ram chips, on a £5 xbox. salvaged hd when i recently upgraded to 1.5&2tb hds in my main pc. Dead xbox1 case became live 360 case and i've got a spare xbox1 psu & dvd biggrin.gif

Thought about watercooling the 360, i even considered putting it on the same loop as my main pc which is watercooled already.. maybe even add the 360 inside my pc's coolermaster 201 case.. with the pc still in there... but i don't want to chop my cm201 up just to fit a 360 into it - i'd do it to any other case - and the old xbox case is much better set up for cooling than the old 360 case.. not had the 360 long so i'm holding back a bit on further mods

nice mod....
IMO water cooling is really a waste for a xbox 360 unless your doing it as a hobby type thing
MunCh!3'$
IMO go buy a ps3 lolxbox 360 was one big mistake what was rushed to be made .. rrod is a nightmare with the 360 otherwise would be a great commy
CaptainStoner
nah the big prob x360 has is cooling.. they should be reliable once that's sorted IMO.

I agree watercooling would be a waste on a 360 unless it was being added to the same loop as something else

Seriously i know people have there own views but that one is just pure balls , most ps3 games are portas from the xbox360 lots of 360games when put onto the ps3 look worse or have textures missing and the ring of death was virtually solved when they swapped to falcon chipset which used less power and they sorted the heatsink problems out at the same time.

Alos if the ps3 is all that why is is being destroyed by a inferior console with nothing but problems

Wii – 50.39 million, as of 31 March 2009 (2009 -03-31)[update][7]
# Xbox 360 – 30.20 million, as of 1 January 2009 (2009 -01-01)[update][21]
# PlayStation 3 – 23.8 million, as of 30 June 2009 (2009 -06-30)[update][22]

You can't argue with sales facts tbh .

Only reason id ever have a ps3 well there aint one id much prefer to buy a blueray writer or player instead of having some 1980's vhs recorder looking thing collecting dust, oh yeah and as per sony they have now released a slimmed down version with 120gig hd for a fraction of the cost for that brick thing they had before.

And not that i condone or have snide disks but if you know someone who knows someone or know anything about the inet you can download and "try" a game before you go out and decide to spend 40+ quid on some half finished piece of shit can you do that on your ps3 ? no just demo's hmmm ms wins even when there being ripped off they still win.

Glad I'm not the only one. I'm guessing this was just a "replace a small fan with a big fan" cooling mod? I couldn't watch the video very long before vertigo gave me a headache.

Typically the best results come simply from supplying superior (cooler) source air.

welldone mate!, I put a a fan inside mine de-soldered the big capacitors sticking up to fit it rite in and wired it internaly to the power from the original fan, then desoldered the tiny tiny power on light and changed it for a cool purpley blue, looks really good! guitar.gif
