Hi guys,
I was just buying my equipment and I want to pass it by urselves first. Ill be running 2 x sealed air cooled lights, intake coming from next door and outtake via an airbrick. The ducting will be fully taped. The room will not have any intake as such, but rely more on negative pressure. As an outtake ill be using a temperature controller ruck which ducts into the airbrick too, after passing through a rhino filter. I wish to use co2 enrichment via a controller, solenoid and bottle, therefore in my eyes I dont need an intake. If needed ill also buy a dehumidifier for flowering periods. Ill have a tower fan and a couple of 6" clip ons to circulate air.
My question is... Do you think this is a good setup, any flaws you guys can see? What should I do at night time? should I leave fans on to circulate the air in the room, and what should I do about intake outake again at night? I wish to keep air temps about 27-28c during day when co2 is on and 18-19c at night when co2 is off? what do you guys think?
As an extra I was thinking of buying a cheap fan and CF to put into the tent to constantly scrub the air then recirculate back into the room? just to double make sure about odour

Is this a first grow, or are you just moving into a new space?
If a first grow I would ditch the CO2 and think about passive or active intake and making sure you the temp controlled ruck is adequate to ventilate the space. I thought CO2 was best used in totally sealed environmentally controlled rooms = very expensive so set up - aircon/dehumidifiers/recirculating filters etc.
It's a bit crazy to use CO2 injection as a replacement for intake when your outtake is going to try and suck it all that expensive CO2 straight back out again. And without an intake of some kind (whether passive or active) that outake fan will have a hard job extracting anything anyway.
What size is the space and what is the wattage of the lights?
Like Bluepixe says running the extractor will just pull all the co2 you injected out! Either run a fast air exchange or run a sealed room. If you run a sealed room you will probably need some air conditioning though as you'll get heat build up in the room from the lamps (might not be much mind with them being tubed).
I'd just go with fast air exchange myself, cheap and easy

Hi guys,
the space is about 2*3m. 12 pot iws. I dont wish to use 1000w lights. I could seal the room, seeing as Ive already got the air cooled lights. Even if the co2 was periodically taken out, I still think that a bottle, controller and solenoid kit would be cheaper and better in the long run? I wouldnt mind a sealed room, however I need some real help trying to find an air con with a two set timer so i can set the temp for the day and for the night, also maybe a dehumidifier with humidistat. If someone could help me locate a decent air con for under £200-250 Id be much appreciated! If I cant find an air con with timer then Ill need an air con which when attached to a controller will automatically turn to its set temp when turned on and not just go straight to standby... these are my issues, I would like a sealed room though

Hi HeyBoy,
My room is seperate from the house, I have a huge room split into two, each room has an airbrick going directly outside. I was thinking of using the adjoining room for air in and the grows airbrick as air out, but like i said i would really like to look for an air con then all my issues are sorted.
