Hi just been into my clone/mum room and I have killed about 3-5 little black flies.....so I assume there will be more of the lil bastards lurking somewhere, I microwaved my compost before I used it.....Guess they hitched a lift off summit else.

I know you can get gnatoff and black fly spray to kill them......my question is, .. is this chemacl safe to use with rockwool? ie no lasting effects on the plant, I know....or assume its safe to use for compost

Hang some yellow sticky cards up, they work great for me, I also place them on top of the pots in case they want to land on the compost they have to land on the sticky cards first.
