gonna have a load of trim some time next week so its time to make hash/oil

i have made a batch of qwiso before and was very impressed with the simplicity and quality of it.
couldn't believe i used to throw the trim away
however, after reading some threads on here i am now in a wee bit of a pickle

some questions for ya all...
1) what gives you the better quality oil/hash
2) what gives you the better return for quantity
3) why have i to stay away from the likes of swan or ronson gas for BHO
4) what is the easiest and less messy method
5) AND what the f*** is this budder/budda

e2a use the purest butane possible for bho , so you dont smoke any horrible stuff that s mixed in cheaper lighter gas
i believe budda is just whipped bho , but theres quite a bit of debate about it , some folks claim its changed in some way

(i reckon bho is difficult to handle , mix it with the golddust at the bottom of the grinder , its like reall juicy hash then.

I have found qwiso to have more flavor than bho - also more of a couch lock than the bho - which i suppose can be expected as butane doesnt disolve the cbd or turpes.

Isnt there a more advanced method..? ..i cant remember if i saw it here or on OG.. But its like Zetane,Cetane extraction.. summin like that? ..It was the only thread i have ever seen about it..Actually i think it was on here

It's Hexane you're after probably, but hard to get hold of - basically a better butane.

I've done QWISO, BHO and HHO and I prefer QWISO personally - although ime the most important factor is the quality of trim/bud used, not necessarily the extraction method - i.e. I haven't made both QWISO and BHO from the same batch of trim/bud to see how the buzz and taste differ.

Every batch is different also, so it's really hard to standardise. I like the buzz from QWISO, and I like the fact that it's easier to purge and with a lot less nasty chemicals in it...and easier to make.

BHO is prettier and makes for better eye candy but so far I'm a QWISO guy. I've got some red oil that I made a few months ago by leaving the tray of evap outside in the sun and overnight, as opposed to a bain marie style. It is hands down the best oil I have ever smoked and easily beats the HHO for sheer potency. I can't remember what I made it with though....and that's really what set it apart from the others, hence me saying that the quality of the starting product is most important....

p.s. Experiment and try for yourself - asking opinions is one thing, but you'll only know for sure by trying it out yourself. FWIW I thnk those Honey Bee tubes are shite and overpriced, and QWISO only needs iso and a tray. I've got an OKIef tube and it's great...and not expensive, and way better quality than teh Honey Bee

Qwiso is ok but i dont like how its made so i stay away from it most the time. Bubble hash is ok but i like drysift more for the taste. And bho is the best i think best of both worlds

thanks for the link SGBs, looks s*** hot!!! i have never tried BHO, only tried qwiso but is it possible to make budder from qwiso once the iso has evaporated - by heating the iso oil and mixing/stirring???

Ive made ISO a coule of times and didnt really like it....BHO/Honey Oil and Budda thats a different story I fecking love the stuff Im forever pulling nice buds out me jars to knock batches of it up.Ive usually always got a cheeky bit of Honey in me freezer for that day when I really feel like getting mullered....

alrighty there guys + gals...

i have been waiting ever so patiently ( ) for my bottle of qwiso being delivered to my buddys address, anyway i finally got it last night and done a qwiso run with it - waiting for it to evaporate fully just now, should hopefully be ready tonight!!!

however i had also planned on doing a step-by-step run through with pics and get them posted on here for some good advice from all out there - only done one batch of qwiso before, loved it and been itching to get on with another one but i think there must be a few good pointers to help me with next lot.

anyway, i got all the gear set-up and was about to get on with it but stopped for a few pics of the worktop - bummer though peeps, my camera ran out of battery so only managed to get a few pics. ended up using mobile phone for rest of the run but i cant get them on the computer, need to bluetooth to a mates phone, blahblahblah... once done though i will update rest of the run through

How many runs and total trim did it take to produce that .
Its amazing how each small batch looks so different. Hypothetical of course but how much would you charge/ pay for that end product per gram??
i imagine it would be high THC%

alright there atoadstool matey,
i done 4 seperate runs total with the second wash of each run draining into same plate (it was almost overflowing near the end !!!) which you could probably notice that its the one thats darker in colour.
total trim/popcorn - didnt weigh it out (will do for next time through - apparently you are looking at about 10% return on amount of trim used)
as far as charging for it then i dont have a clue - too greedy when it comes to class hash/oil, want it all for meself - but it is certainly potent stuff, nice smoke and a heavy couch-lock kinda stone

what i am kinda wondering though is the best way to store it now, last time i just pressed them in mylar and put in tupperware box then just left in freezer and used when required. i dont know if this is good for the stuff or not.

any ideas anybody???

okay then, now i have done both methods then i must say that BHO is better to get that high like state whereas QWISO is more of a couch-lock stone.

i like them both but must say i prefer BHO for the taste aswell as the high.

i first done a QWISO run with quite a lot of trim, then a BHO with less trim - i now wish i went with the BHO first and then tried the QWISO out but such is life, they both get you mashed

Nothing like BHO it's a no ceiling buzz for sure ain't it , It looks heavy Judd

I now process my trim in this order -

1. Dry sift - for adding to oils for Jelly,
2. Bubblebags - Mmmm Bubble Hash,
3. BHO or QWISO - I like to do 3/4 BHO and 1/4 QWISO.

Abit of drying out between methods but from my eight plants i can get just over half oz of primo Hash/Oils like this every grow

It's great in the first instance to see people using their trim to make the best available dopes, rather than throwing it away as many people have and will do again.

It's even better to see people taking up the idea of getting every last trich they can extract. Gives me a warm glow it does. Hashing then oiling the remains is the way forward for getting everything, no matter your preferences for BHO/QWISO; dry sift/bubbling.

I personally share Mr Mullen's view above of dry sift, bubble and BHO as they are what I like to smoke. Though I still smoke mostly weed, I do like to have the hashes and oils to call on for those key joints in the day - you know, like when you've just got in from work, or come home from a family dinner or something.
