Hi people, thanks for reading my post.

To the point, i have ben offered a 600w hps to replace my enviro's, my question is will the heat cause me problems?

The system itself is a remote ballast type, and as i say its rated at 600w. My growroom is 6.5 ft high, 2.75 ft wide, and 2 ft deep, the extraction kit i am looking at getting for the room is rated at 280m3/hr. i have already used the growroom calculator which recomends an extraction fan of minimum 41m3/hr if i have a carbon filter attached, which i intend on using, as smell is a big issue for me as family members dont know i smoke never mind grow (its my own house, not parents lol.gif), and my parents are quite old school and frown upon weed like it was smack, ( yes i have tried educting them before to no avail ).

Anyway, do you think the extraction will be adequite to run a 600w in that space or am i better off trying to get a 400w?

thanks in advance guys, hope someone can help.

ETA: i'm not sure why it has been put in gaming section, if a mod could change it for me i would be greatful, cheers

I use a 6" extraction with a 5" intake with my 600 watt light in a 1.2x 1.2 x 2mtr budbox. The more powerfull rvk one. So yours sounds fine.

No probs mate, I have always found out the had way that the more extraction the better, specially in this heat, but maybe look into a fan speed controller in the winter spliff.gif yinyang.gif
