About half my plants are at that stage now. Others are just starting to put out flowers proper. A couple are just showing which are the twilight. I'll be sacking them next time as they were good and early when i first bought them but imo the seed stock has gone down hill since then as hazys last yr didn't do much as are mine this yr. No vigour and very late

Same here on the dp bb's, some hairs but no buds. Grew these last year, thhey catch up pretty quick, still looking mis-late Oct regardless. Don't worry about mold, the bb are extremely resistant, due to the shape and density of the calyx.

My skunk #1 started to flower a week or two ago
Click to view attachmentBut no luck with my others. Only saving grace is I pulled a male out a week ago and none of the others are showing any signs of sex. Fingers crossed they're just being stubborn like most ladies and will start to show sex soon. Luckily I have the option of bringing them into my conservatory if they're gonna take ages to flower so not too much of a drama!

My smile mum is on its way( a week or so in) but then again its about 15 weeks old so it was pretty desperate to flower.
Mines just started although she is starting to suffer from waterlogged roots, hopefully she pulls through

gonna choose earlier finishing varieties next year and work on soil aeration a bit more.

so what do you do when it comes to chop them, how do you go about it?

Sep 9 2009, 04:23 PM
All of mine are now showing nice flowers and growing pretty quick, some quicker than others and some buds are harder and fatter than others but fingers crossed its going in the right direction. Crunch time now, just avoid the mould I should be home

people do it different ways, i like to trim up while buds are still on the plant but you can just chop individual branches off and trim them up. I think it easier to trim as much as i can on site so not carrying massive plants home
