I would like to start by saying thanks to UGORG for releasing what seems to be a superb range of genetics, I would also like to distance myself from certain people recently being rude idiots regarding cost. The request I have is simply is there any chance you could sell packs of 5. I am happy to pay slightly more than £30 which would be half the cost of a normal 10 pack, i am happy to also pay postage which would also add incentive for people to buy 10. If you not willing to do this is there any chance you could try to come to a arrangement with a certain site that sells seeds singularly ( I have no connections with this site just have used there services a couple of times and have been happy with it )

I fully understand that people will and do pay for the packs of 10 so completely understand you saying no. The reason I even ask is that I only have a small budget for seeds per grow, I only have 1 grow area so cant make clones. I always try to grow 2-3 different strains from seed only in very small numbers, from what I have seen I am happy to buy regular seeds instead of the normal fems I buy ( there by growing more plants for a few weeks than im normally comfortable with ) but if I bought a pack of 10 thats pretty much all I will be able to get, I would love to be able to even buy maybe £60 mix packs of 2 different strains so I can try more than one of your varieties. I know I may get called a called a skin flint but I am in no way doubting your genetics just would like the option of being able to buy them in 5's so it doesnt take me a year to at least try 2-3 of your strains.

personally i would love them to sell packs of 5 for say 35quid, but hey ho i seen it enough peeps on here saying the same so am guessing its falling on deaf ears and they perfectly happy leaving it well alone £60 or nothing

I'm sure they'll get on to answering these questions soon. Although I think its been answered indirectly elsewhere over the last few weeks.
In any case, surely the new packaging, time etc will add to the cost, so if you are looking for fives, expect to pay over 50%, at a guess. I can't help thinking its so much better to team up with someone and share a ten-pack or two. Much more chance of a keeper and plenty of females that way.

Would they consider packs of 15, for £40, It's just I've got £40 spare, and fancy 15 seeds for my money....

i agree with arnold,i got 4 females from ten seeds,all of them keepers in my opinion(2 very distinct phenos)i lost one of the smellyberry types due to poor cloning skills which im still gutted about 4 months later,was a belter,monsterous trichome coverage but saved a similar one and have the blues type which is a right cracker in every respect .After months of smoking both im still not sure which is my fave as theyre both top smokes for different reasons.would have been dissapointed if id bought a 5 pack and got just the one pheno,bit skint at the mo so am going halves with a mate on the smiles as its the cheapest/easiest way to find an expression of the strain thats favourable to yourself,as said before:the only hard bit about it is picking your fave ugorg specimin to keep and chucking any out of the mum box

If you can, its a relatively new thing. Regular seeds have always been sold in packets of 10+ as far as I understand?

5 packs were introduced a few years ago to sell femini$ed seed.
You get half as many, for the same price but there all supposed to be female.

It seems that I am not alone in wanting 5 packs, to all the people that recommended buying a pack with a friend that isnt an option as I dont have any friends that grow and tbh isnt that going against Rule number 1 when growing DONT TELL ANYONE?

TeamUGORG I appreciate that regulars dont normally come in 5 packs but is there any reason why all seed companies need to be the same? Im willing to take the risk and it seems others are too.

Oh well until I either A) manage to be in a position where I have more available cash or B) decide to stick to growing 1 strain at a time it looks like I will have to give KS a miss, please before anyone comes out with the normal "your loss" im not the one making money from selling them, please bear in mind I so far have had decent weed from every strain I have so far attempted except AI from GHSC and these have all been from seeds bought singularly. I hope this doesnt come across shitty I just thought from a business point of view if there is a demand you might as well cater for it plus you could make more money at the same time.

As well as like you having to wait on funds and also not having the room to grow anything else for a while, I totally understand where your coming from and also think 5 packs of seeds are a good idea, for small scale growers like myself £60 is a quite an outlay where as £35 would be alot more appealing.

Thing is fella I get the feeling they sell well enough anyway, although I'm sure they would sell a lot of 5 packs at £35 and as business go's there is no reason what so ever to not do packs of 5, this is one of the reasons a lot of seed banks now sell 5 packs

From a business point of view, I would imagine the cost of production would hardly warrant the likely modest return such a policy would bring. Are there really so many seedbanks selling 5 packs of standard stains?

I want a genuine Rolex, I've got £1.50 to spare. C'mon Rolex!! No? Oh well, I guess a cheapie off the maket it is then, till such time ........

The seeds are fresh, you can use half a pack and put half away for a rainy day. Its not that you find £60 too much for 10 seeds, because in your first post you said you would buy two different packets if we did 5's, you just dont want to pay £60 for a single strain and thats upto you. If we did do 5 packs, they would have to be £35. We couldnt do them for half the price of 10 so that would put 10 seeds at £70 and make us £1 more per seed, which is a lot! Anyway, do you mind if I give you a third option?... C) Until such a time KillerSkunk is back in stock!

God im stoned (good dealer weed for a change) I actually sat down and worked out a shit load of figures to show it was worth it based on selling a thousand seeds, took bloody 45 mins got to the end of the post and realised that based on selling 25% of 1000 seeds in 5 packs at £35+£2P&P you could increase your turn over by 5%, it took 20 mins to realise that for 5% extra profit you had to do 25% extra work so sod it I wouldnt bother either but if you ever do decide to do it thank you

i would be more then happy to pay £35 for 5 seeds.
if anyone is like me, i would be looking for a keeper as a mother, i only grow 3 plants at a time, so would be pointless for me to buy more seeds then a i need.

What happens if you get 5 males? will you buy another 5 pack ?.. so far i've been through 6 Killer Skunk and had 5 males .. and my luck now is i have a fem Killer but its on the edge of disastered death as of spider mites.. I would not buy a 5 pack of any regular beans..i wouldnt be satisfied.. especially to hope to find a keeper too ..pushin your luck abit there?? .. I would be happy to find 2 fem's, 3 bonus .. 5 you just lucky.

if i get 5 males m8, then i get 5 males, i could buy a pack of 10, and get 10 males.

if these strains are as good people say they are, then any female plant should be a keeper.

you guys should just give up with the 5 seed idea..... it dont look like its gonna happen... just split 10 with a m8

Yea.. so whats the problem with the ten packs?.. your complaining about price.. when you would pay 10£ more if you 1st wasnt pack wasnt successful.. not just male/female ratios..



I dunno mate i aint tried it yet. I bought it compare to Blue Cheese, as its one of my personal fav's.

eta: a keeper for you would not be a keeper for me.. well if you was going to search through a 5 pack.. If i did find something, it would be even more of a reason to keep searching

might sound crazy, price is'nt a problem, for instance, i recently bought 10 white rhino's, i germed 4 of them and kept the best one as a mother, which i've taken cuttings from and currently 2 weeks into flower, so far everything is spot on, although dunno about the final yield yet, so that will determine if its a keeper or not.
but if it is, then i'll have 6 seeds here that will do nothing except stay in there packet for ever.

the real seed company sells regular packs of 5 seeds.
