As far as I know mate, the THC content and other details given for the various strains is based ideally on plants grown well in a good environment, an advertising strategy more than anything else, so use them as a rough indication if you like, but take it with a pinch of salt. As they're both from cuttings, is it possible to get a sample of the finished product from the original source? Then again, that would depend on how he/she grew it too, when they chopped, how well they dried it, if it was cured or not, if so for how long and so on. Also, depending on what sort of hit you're after, you may want to consider the CBD content too, harvesting later will increase the CBD levels, but THC will be lower. Good luck with the grow!
