Just done a crop with hermie seeds, All where females. Out of 5 though one hermied. If You do do em just keep your eyes open for balls. One even polinated one but never formed seeds. It was just a fck around grow and ended up with 6 oz of potent bud. Take cuts of the all fems then you got pure fems from then on. good luck.... edit.. take cuts while in veg then flower, find fems, kill she men tranys! then on all fems!!!!

Spray with feminiser (now called "reverse", made by dutch masters) pods will appear but they contain no pollen. Crop is seed free biggrin.gif

as said after my post, most peeps get mostly females. however I did have a female plant which halfway through grew bunches of full on male flowers under the buds, which grew very quickly, and I mean bunches not single banana type males, this was a full on hermie 1st Ive seen in all my years of horticulture.. needless to say killed it but did waste a few weeks of valuable space, still made a honey extraction for cakes though..

I've got a huge quantity of really fat Sweet Tooth 4 seeds (About 150), that I think might be O.K..

I had several (unfeminised) female plants, and I think there was a light leak at the bottom of the zip in the tent because the plant at the front had about half a dozen pollen sacks at the very base pinch.gif

Anyway, it lightly pollinated all of the females. I got loads of good smoke biggrin.gif , and I suspect the seeds will be good, because they have come from a VERY good female, crossed with a plant that was totally female, apart from where I think it was light stressed..

What do you guys think? Will they all be hermaphrodites? I suspect there might be some really good seeds in there - the plants they came from were variable, but all good..

so there's no difference in using regular seeds or seeds from a feminised plant that's hermied then ? unsure.gif

I wouldn't go as far as to say there is no difference..you are a lot less likely to grow plants which show herm traits when crossing males and females..Seeds produced from a herm mother which self pollinated should all show to be female with varying degrees of herm tendencies and are also IME likely not to be an exact replica of the mother but show regressive phenos or at least not such desirable phenos.. However seeds produced from a herm mother and a XX regular female of a different breeding will still show varying degrees of herm tendencies but a lot less...

I hacked seeds from herms for years with great results before I started taking hacking a bit more seriously..IMO If you want to keep good viable seeds for future generations then I wouldn't bother with herm seeds...

I'm no where near the hacking of seeds stage - just wondered if the seeds I got from a hermie Trainwreck (ghs) would be worth growing out and sexing, rather than buying new beans (which would be fems anyway) ie - free beans - I'll sex em, If I have to buy, then fem for convenience . .

Have you actually used this product?
bobstaines
i soaked about 50 seeds off a hermied, femmed plant. about 20 cracked. of the 20, 4 sprouted. 2 were very healthy females that we had no problems with and was wicked smoke.
i dont use femmed seeds now as they proper do my head in, they have got worse for hermies over time.
