Does anyone know the best Bubblebag sizes to use for dry sift?,i'm definitely doing the ice-hash but i would also like to try the dry sifting method.Or is it not a good idea to use bubblebags?
They are the original Bubblebags 8 bag kit.

i do the same thing myself , i use lastic bands to hold the bag over a bowl or something like a smash mash tin , (sittingrelaxing once showed me this ) and shake, i use the 120 bag as its the best for dry sift i beleive ? and i dont use it when i make bubble hash so its spare anyway, the 120 makes me some very good grade hash,

Thanks Sonicgrow I read your post about the smash tins here - Smash mash tins,an excellent idea to recycle your ripped bags!,my bags are new so i can't do it exactly the same way as "Sittingrelaxing" showed you,but maybe i could get a smash tin and cut the bottom off it(making sure it's smooth),put the tin in the bag of my choice and then wrap the bag tightly around the tin using elastic bands.Then just put the stuff in the tin,lid on and shake gently!

• Do you think it would be best to sieve everything through the 220 bag first?
• I will be trying it through the 120 bag as you recommend,i suppose if i do it through the smaller mesh ones it won't get through using dry sift?
• Does anybody do their dry sifting using bubblebags any different way?

what i do to make dry sift,is i use a big sqare platic sweet tub with the clip on lids.i dry out all of my trim and popcorn buds ,then put them in the tub and shake the hell out of it for 5 mins, then leave for 5min ,then just take the lid of,and scoop in all the hash sift,and leave the trim for my bubble bag run through .and i get a fair amount still in the bubble sacs still. just my diy stile ,thought id share with you

I don't have the proper bubblebags but the Icolater, which only comes with 220 and 73mc bags. Will the 73 micron bag be ok for dry sift ? (it makes lovely bubble )

where did you find that thread , check the date on it , i have taken some pics to show you how i do it now, adapted from Sittingrelaxing's idea, using a coffee mate tin instead of smash cos it was all i had at the time , but i need to find something like this but with a bigger surface area, it takes to long with loads of trim.. any ideas people ? look at the pics !

i use the 120u bubble bag, i still have the ripped bags but rarely use them now, need to clean them really, i think maybe best to use 120 first then 220, the 120 will be better quality everytime though, and it depends on quality of trim etc,

here it is ready to shake up, just remove lid and collect the dust on a piece of paper

the bag is not damaged at all, just dont leave the lastic bands on for to long cos it will crease it up, but still works fine,

Thats the same way as i was thinking of doing it,good idea of yours putting the lid on the end though.That way all the dust ends up in the lid then you just take the lid off carefully onto glass or paper.
I'm also finding it hard to find a bucket for the bubblebags ready for when i do the ice-hash,anybody got any ideas?.
I've worked it out i need a bucket about 12 inches high and 8 inches across.

yep exactly m8, the lid stops me losing atleast half the shake i would say,

as for the bubble bag bucket , i have searched high and low for the 5 gallon buckets that are everywhere in the states, and i mean everywhere

i gave up after years of searching for a perfect bucket, just find one that fits the work bag and mix it all up and pour it in another bucket with 2/3 bags waiting, i only use the 160, 73 and 20u bags, i throw away the shit in the 160 and keep the rest.

I wish i got the 5 gallon kit now because trying to find a 1 gallon bucket is impossible.I've tried everything so far like sweet jars,vases and waste bins etc.I'm off to the supermarket tomorrow to look at the big coffee mate tins and any other food product tins/jars!
If anybody has got the 1 gallon bubblebags please tell us what the hell you use because i cannot even find anything close!

i have your answer m8,i use a 45l tub for mixing my bubble hash in ,and then put my bags over a bucket,dont have to go to the bottom of bucket ,and do up ty strings , then run it through after mixing in a bucket or sumin abit at a time , hope that makes sense

Seems a good way but i still need a bucket for the bubblebags to sit in while i pour it through,If i got the 5 gallon bags i think it would of been easier to get a bucket for them,Had no luck at the supermarket today looking for tins/buckets but i've also got the wife on the lookout now!
At least i know now which bags to use for the dry sifting method,i just need to get a large coffee mate and throw away the contents! (That stuff makes me )
