Mr Nice in the old style packs are getting lots of bad germ reports, it seeems to be very old stock, Shantibaba has lost his big Swiss outfit and is now selling polyhybrid mixes that look moody to me, especially bearing in mind the $$.

Serious and Ace are the only 2 companies I know of that consistently produce selected, checked, quality seeds.

Soma, DNA and Sargamatha I am pretty certain farm out work to others, but sell under their badge, abeit, often pukka stuff.

Nirvana, Greenhouse and Mandala do some excellent cheap stuff.

They are around the same same price as other top end genetics mate...

From what I gather "VRG" made Killer Skunk and "OT1" made the rest, they are both well known memebers of the site and both top blokes in my opinion!

i can only comment on seedbanks i've tried, never had any problems with seeds from sensi, white label, serious or dutch passion.

So there very expensive do you really want me to list every strain thats just as or more expensive because i bet i'd find quite a few from most seedbanks and i bet half of them wouldnt be as good.

Grenhouse seeds are good (just harvested 7oz of great white shark, and have Alaskan Ice on the grow), but now I know the coup, I'd sooner give my money to an innovator, instead of a thief.

I grow mainly fems these days if growing from seed, and the places i allways go back to are sweetseeds, femaleseeds, pyramidseeds and i'm quite liking ch9 gear i'm trying too, but havn't grown that much of it.

I certainly don't think it's case of the more you pay the better you get BUT I've grown several of the £10 Nirvana seeds for instance and it's not bad or anything but it's not a patch on ANY of Serious Seeds strains which cost around £50-60!

For the amount you splash out on growing equipment, nutrients and electricity as well as the risks, what the fuck is £60 in the grand scheme of things really?

I see it more as an investment... I'm going to keep a mother and get many grows out of this one purchase so it pays for it's self many many times over...

Nice Rant, but I think you'll find it's the Euro/Pound exchange rate causing that problem, not greed on the part of Mike. And as his seeds regularly sell out UK resellers are not selling old stock at prices based on old exchange rates.......

ugorg all the way for me tried plenty of others and they were good/ok/cheap/expensive,but the killer,phwoar,never in my life....(20 years shmoking)2 years growing .The thought of starting more seeds off is a bit of a pain in the arse for me due to lack of room(waste involved chucking out blokes etc)when i can very happily carry on getting mangled off my ks cuts with less bother .But from the sheer strength of character the killer has shown me and the 'does what it says on the tin' ethos,i cant wait to get another ugorg strain in and ive not heard one single person who has grown ugorg complain about the quality of the seeds/genetics,quite the opposite

I find seed prices from honest, reputable breeders often reflect the amount of input that was put into them.
Take a look at Nirvana's F2's, honest and cheap and awesome.
£60 isn't that expensive mate, i think they're being quite decent with a price like that. The investment that went into it must of been quite lengthy and expensive.

Alot of people are suggesting Ace.. but i just dont see that many grows of their stuff on 420 ?..well not like it use to be when Bud Shots section was open. I dont really use other fourms but I..C seems to have loads of diaries and stuff.. what happened to the NepxJam f3 grows? - thats was some class inbreeding.. Also the NJxOE? (Magdiz good work keeping yours) ..they looked exceptional.

out of the ones iv tried id say serious seeds for regulars paradise and flying dutchmen plus white label for femmes and also i rate the sensi seed bank for regulars but iv not tried thier femmes though

Sannie is amazing - so glad someone mentioned him. Great genetics, albeit very dutch, for great value. I've read nothing but greatness about his work and have some Jackberry x Madonna in the fridge.

TH Seeds though, different story. Their feminized stuff is to be avoided at all costs....multiple reports of mass hermies, including my own. Doesn't say very much for a company that can release seeds that clearly haven't been tested at all.
