Hey Guerilla fans out there!

Yes we know this diary is way late this year, but we hope you will still enjoy our outdoor efforts anyway!
After the Rox dissapointment last year we are back into the great outdoors with one of dutchpassions oldest strains
the Passion #1 (since 1980 in the NL) that we allready have tested once before with great succes!
We are very conviced that she will make us much more proud than the Rox last year does...
Passion #1 is truly one of the most resistant and fast flowering outdoor strains we every came across so far (except auto-flowering strains)!
Never found any spot of mould on a passion #1 and the resin production is great for an outdoor plant!

We used 4 fem. Passion #1 seeds and all sprouted very well. They are all topped once, but as we expected from the years before
they needed support very early even while vegging! They grow powerfull, but tall with medium slim leaves that are
very unusually for a more or less pure indica! Some times you can find purple phenos, too!
Three of four phenos are very equal with fat stems and big leaves! Just one of them is way more tiny and stem as leaves are slim, but she
grows as big as the other phenos, too. Will be interesting to see which phenos we will find under them...
Here some pics! The location changed and provids more direct sun-light than last year (about 6-8 hours!).
Them plants are fenced and fertilized with tomato-fertilizer that seems to work very well!

Stickybud73
Good luck this time SGB!! I think those Rox's were too tightly packed in...

I do believe i see some early flowering on these Passions!!

All the best!

Our Lat is close to 52° Bad Penny. We are quite convinced with the passions this year wink.gif

Hey Stickybud73 mate! Your right they were truly tighly packed, but we expected them to grow much shorter.
Furthermore they should have been ready about 1 1/3 month more early... cry.gif
Hope you look in by time, your welcome cool.gif

Update! Just visited the four passions today and got a nice surprise stoned.gif
All of them are flowering very strong, now! Eleven days ago nothing was visible!
On of them grows with pink psitils and another shows the first resin allready!
The stems are very thick and woody, now. One of them (the pink pistil one) got a broken
stem that is splitted up about 20cm long, but she just don't cares about and grows on powerfull
as she does before yahoo.gif If the weather stays as well as it is atm it should be nice crop this year smoke.gif

Stickybud73
Looks set to be a great year for your outdoors SGB!! I've heard good things about the P#1 finishing well, but I've heard the smoke is mild and quite harsh, is this BS? can anyone confirm/deny these claims?

ATB SGB, this time last year you were still waiting...

Nice to see u guys back outside, hope you get some in this year,im sure you will passion is one of the most reliable strains and i must say yours are looking especially good quality as usuall, best of luck.
Ganjaman
Very nice, cant wait to see how they finish up
SuburbanGrowBroths
Thank you all very much for the feedback!

We allready grown the Passion #1 once before and the non-purple phenos a great smoke for sure Stickybud73!
You just have to allow them to reach full maturity even if there is a higher chance to find some mold.
Otherwise Passion #1 tends to smoke a bit woody and much less citrus like. If the summer goes on as well as it does atm
we can hopefully show you what Passion #1 is possible to achive in points of yield and quality this year.

Last year the Rox started way to later into the flowering... russian.gif

Thank you very much Tree Man! Hopefully we don't dissapoint you!
All we need are some more sunny days cool.gif

A very nicely fitting discription iamafunkimunki! Looked up your passions again
and I have to say it once more: some serious quality work mate!
Your outdoor diarys are a pleasure to follow for sure!

Hey gavmc! You should cut off the leaves at the bottom that are damaged and bit yellowish with brown speckles,
if the leaves are more than 50% destructed. Otherwise you allowe mold to creep up your plant more easy.
Furthermore it allows more airflow which prevents mold as well!
Topping is a good and easy treatment for the Passion#1, because she tends to become a very huge bush (2,5-3m)
if you let her grow without topping. Our plants reached a hight about 1,80m (smallest) and 2,25m (tallest) even with topping, now.
We wish you best of luck for your first guerilla grow!

ouncyboy
Absolutely stunning a picture of health ,those passions really fatten up quick once they start flowering. The pink pistaled one really produces some stunning looking buds, but i think the green pheno smokes slightly better, good luck .
smeagol
hi SGB .. welcome to 2009 .. i missed this .. lovely healthy looking plants you got there .. good to see you back after last yrs dissapointment .. i'm growing passion # 1's as well alongside durban poison .. they're a lovely plant eh .. mine r at the same stage as yours more or less .. good luck this yr and lets hope for an indian summer .. smoke.gif yinyang.gif
SuburbanGrowBroths
Thank you very much stickyblack! Hopefully your back for the best part!

We can just hope that the weather will eb with us Mr_cocofibrelover! Greets!

Yep we topped them, because they tend to develope into big *** trees otherise Enzo5 biggrin.gif
Furthermore its stealthy to keep them smaller and it's a better protection agains wind break.

Your right ouncyboy! From our experince the green pheno smokes better, but the purple one looks stunning, too!
This year they will be mature at the end of september we hope. Maybe we are going to chop them into two sections,
big buds first tp prevent mold and the rest two weeks later or that way...

Yeah, they are great plants smeagol! The only outdoor strain we can really recoment for a absolutly safe crop if you
take some care of them wink.gif Will keep an eye on your buds! All the best!

---

Yesterday, we visited our old outdoor plot that we used this year to try out some of our indoor strains.
To make it as short as possible we don't took any care of those (mainly) cuttings, we ain't feed them and
we never visited them from the day we planted them out. Here a short list of the plants we used:

Two fem. Purple Pakistan Chitral S1 cuttings
Two fem. Purple Wreck cuttings
One fem: Jacky White cutting
One Purple Pakistan Chitral S1 from seed

We got a lil' surprise yesterday! All of them except the Jacky White are flowering! Even the two Purple Wrecks...
A third Purple Wreck (the picture from last post) got a much better location, but that one is still not flowering at all...
But the most interesting thing is the fact that the single fem. Purple Pakistan Chitral S1 seed plant turned out to be a fullblood male doh.gif
That is very great, because now we can use the pollen to make seeds with our female PPC mother plant yahoo.gif
Will this be F2 or S2 then? Or even FS2 biggrin.gif Just wondering how this can be possible? Where is the Y from g.gif huh.gif

Fem. seed PPC S1 male?

dam they look grate budding in good weather to wish mine were , looks like i be doing other strains next year and not the purple power lol.gif
SuburbanGrowBroths
Never was conviced enough to try this strain, but we love the purps! So you wouldn't recoment her either?
What is your weather like?

SGBs
SuburbanGrowBroths
Update! Just back from the plot and wow the Passion#1 is by far the fastest strain for outdoor grows we know.
The buds allready become very tight and the resin appears all over the them, but the smell is by far the best part!
Super fruity and intense smelling buds all over the plants! At the moment the odor is nothing like citrus, but from our
experience we can say that the typical citrus flavour comes up first by full maturity!
This will be a massive post... sorry! Lots of pictures this time.

What you feeding them brothers?
Stickybud73
I know the pleasure of that smell, my g13's are right at it, rox coming along nice too. Last night took a deep whiff from the main tops, and the smell stayed with me all the way home!! [must've lined my nose with trichs]. Instant goosebumps, reminds me of this time last year, one of the reasons why its always worth the effort. Another fine part of doing what we do.|biggrin.gif

PS. Glad to see ya bounce back after last years mold drama, hoping we'd see you again, welcome back SGB!!

guitar.gif
SuburbanGrowBroths
We are just feeding them with simple tomato fertilizer and it works very well wink.gif
Even if the plant infront of the first pic could take some more feeding. She shows some yellow leaves allready...
Well said Stickybud73! Yes we are back ! The moldy Rox just motivated us for this year to improve the grow!
The smell is worth the effort for sure! Allways reminds me on old crops wink1.gif ph34r.gif

SuburbanGrowBroths
Hopefully we will ouncyboy unsure.gif whistling.gif yahoo.gif
Honestly we are a bit surprised how fast they build up their buds, too!
The new plot and the fine weather over the last weeks helped a lot we think.
All the best! Greetings!

SENSATIONAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
SuburbanGrowBroths
Update time! Not long to go, now! The Passions are looking very well developed so far and we only found three lil' moldy buds that we cut out.
Sadly it was very rainy over the last four days and the mold found good growing conditions 34.gif Maybe two more weeks if the weather will be good enough unsure.gif
Whats your opinion? We have so many bud shots that we just can post a short over view, but if you want to see more its no problem rolleyes.gif
