Hi all uk420.

After a naughty episode of fungus on my last crop ive purchased the essence kit from greens and im in a bit a a pickle regarding when to apply it.

The problem is that i grow at another address to my own and my light schedule is on from 5pm to 5 am.

Bearing in mind i need to spray em just before lights out ( dont wanna be heading out at 3am to get em done for 5am sad.gif )

plants are two weeks into flower by the way.

Could i instead just spray em at say, 6pm and leave em to dry off for a few hours in the bedroom which my tent is in (ceiling light still on) and just pop em back under the hps at say 9 bells??

hope thats clear, will check any replies on my breaks thru the day.

sure ill be ok, just wanted a second opinion ya know.

cant see a few hours out of the hps doing any harm, rather than them be wet under there, frying away...

( i have rarely misted any of my plants since starting growing so im not sure if its common knowledge that a wet plant would dry out in 1,2,3 hours etc. hence my noobish question)

Hi mate

I have been applying when lights on

I have a 600w 2 feet away and a big oscilating fan

to be honest by the time ive watered them aswell the leaves are nearly dry

then they go back in

raise your shade 6 inches if your worried - lower it when your happy

i found i did a better job lights on

I must point out, that although some get on fine with spraying when lights on, it can have some serious issues, so please take the following into consideration:

Firstly if water droplets are left on the leaf surface this could magnify the light and cause it to burn.

But THE most important thing to remember is that the High Pressure Sodium lamps run at a silly hot temperature, just the slightest splash of liquid could result in the lamp shattering and causing some serious damage, don't fancy the thought of someone getting struck by some flying glass pinch.gif

sorry heyboy, not dismissing your advice or owt. Just wanted to make some others aware of potential hazards thumbsup.gif

Hi PM

Sorry i didnt make it clkear i remove the plants from grow room for 15 - 20 mins ( just outside )

I never spray products in my grow room - and dont recomend it for obvious reasons !

Spray outside - water same time - when watered the leaves are almost dry

then they go back in

good time to clean your room while leaves are drying !
