Cheers Felix, just a question do you apply via spray or add to feed as im using compost

pest off should not be used in the last 2 week of flower, upto that point it is ok. i do use it and it has worked for me against spidermite and thrips, but with only a few week left i would be using it to limit the numbers rather than trying to eradicate them(and soaking the buds). if you can get your temps down to below 25 you will slow down the breeding cycle this helps lots when dealing with the little sap suckers. so try to contain the numbers until the chop then give everything a real good clean. good luck mate cool.gif

E2A and it is a spray you mix up 25mls of concentrate per litre and spray the plants top and underside of leaves

Sorry missed this one, you spray it on making sure to absolutely drench the entire plant, leaving no hiding spaces unsprayed yes.gif

@Felix i have always been too para about bud rot to soak the buds and just used it to try to control the numbers (when i have been unlucky enough to get mites this deep into flower) is this the wrong way to go about it? i know that if you dont spray the whole plant then you will miss some i always thought this was the lesser of two evils. any advice mate?

Hi Jackberry,

Depends on what you are trying to achieve and what level of infestation the little blighters have got to. If you've got a really heavy infestation then it's worth drenching the whole plant and upping your ventilation whilst the room dries out, if fungal issues may be a problem then try and add some extra circulating fans while the leaves are drying. If on the other hand the infestation isn't at critical levels then spraying under the leaves is just fine as that's where most pests live.

As a side note if the buds are heavily covered in trichromes and very dense it's quite likely that any spray applied won't actually get into the buds and will just sit there beading on the trichromes till it evaporates.

Hope that helps thumbsup.gif
