Hi guys

I have recently been reading up on using Bat Guano during flowering, alot of people seem to feel that it makes there bud taste and smell better so I thought I would give it a go, the only questions I have before getting started are

1.) If I make a bucket full can I bottle what I dont use and store it for use later in the week.

2.) Do I need to use just the guano tea the NPK is 3:10:2 every feed or should I carry on using BioBizz Grow and Bloom as well. If I have to carry on using them how often should I be feeding with the tea?

1.. i would just make what you need at the time, if i rember right it does goes off if you leave it a couple days mixed up something like 48hours same as biobizz would, and i would only use guano tea for flowering
(could even mix a couple of litre's and leave it a few days and see for your self)

2.. you should NOT be giving your plants guano tea every watering the stuff is quite strong and its more of a flowering feed.
i would say once to maybe two times MAX a week.

Thanks Sensi, I will probably water with it then once per week then , I use 25L tubs soma style so dont need to water more than once every 3 days. Would it be possible to bubble the guano with essence so I dont have to have do them seperately?

Hello mate, Essence has some benefit as a root drench, but it's primarily designed to spray on the foliage to provide a protective barrier of friendly microbes against fungus and the like.

So I don't think you want to bubble them togethor.

e2a - Actually ask here if there is any benefit to adding a little essence to your Guano tea as when feeding.....you never know.....spirit of experimentation and all that.

Granules is basically Essence with added VAM's, and essence can also be used as a root drench as it contains soil living bacteria along with bacteria that will colonise the phytoplane (leaves). Although as BluePixie says it is intended primarily as a foliar spray yes.gif but can also be used in compost or guano teas.

When making a rock guano tea I only add a very small amount of molasses to get it going as I really want to encourage the phosphorous solubilising microbes rather than everyone else, then brew that for 12 - 24 hours and water in to the plants yes.gif
