Hi,

I am growing two plants in a grow tent 55x55cmx140cm high, I have a 250cfl lamp and reflector and growing in a well ventilated double garage. I have a basic ocsilating fan blowing fresh air from outside the tent through the bottom....i also just have a drier vent rigged so all the hot air just comes out of the top and goes out of the top of the garage...The average temp is 25-28c during the day.....Just need some advice as to what air flow set-up people would recommend please, The plants are just 2 weeks old seedlings and doing very well. i have considered a dehumidifier...other options are the carbon kit fans/filters.....or one desk fan blowing fresh air in and one at the top blowing fresh air out....remember please it's cfl so hardly any heat....i have had some hps growers saying go for all the bells and whistles but i don't thinks its realistic for the conditions, please help. the smell isn't a problem as where i am its secluded so i'm not to fussed about a carbon filter.

your temps seem fine....But smell will be a problem as you roll along longer into veg and definitely into flower i say grab a carbon filter atleast

like i say mate the smell isn't a problem for my location....no unwanted visters....garage is far from any-one......

i dont run my fan at the bottom 24/7....i run the fan at the bottom 6 hours on 6 hours off.....
surely this is fine as the two plants wont eat too much oxygen!! its a cool 250watt cfl bulb!!?

I think its ideally best if you run the fans as long as you run your lights....Your going to want intake and extraction going at all times while your lights are on...Plus plants love fresh C02

i would run your fan for 24/7 because when no fans are running you have a lot more chance of getting LSF,,,with constant air movement its harder for the sporse of the fungus to settle and spread,believe me it can appear overnite and once its there its a fecking hard to get rid of.

i cant work out what you mean when you said the two plants are fine and its a 250w cfl,,,doesnt matter what light your running cfl,hps,or even under the sun,,air movement is important,,like the wind dont stop blowing once it gets dark does it.
