High all,
Ive got a 12 plant aero cloner which I have been using very succesfully, under a 125 watt enviro the cuts usually root within 7 to 14 days with very healthy roots. Of I was to change the light cycle to 18/6 would the cuts still root succesfully? Would it just take a bit longer? Or would it have any adverse effects on them?
Thanks all
Ileach

18/6 is fine for rooting cuttings I used this cycle for years with no probs...

Much obliged mate, I dont see the point in 24 hours of light if it can be avoided.

just to say I now find and have read that 20/4 is best.. stoned.gif

24/0 all the way wink1.gif

There's every point of 24/0, it's a cutting trying to put down roots. Constant light will achieve that objective quicker.

I too find cuts root much quicker under 24/0 but i'd swear they root better under 20/4 once they are vegging. I tried vegging 24/0 before and it was shit....but yes for rooting cuts most definitely

18/6 is fine, though i did try 20/4 once, and i reckon it knoked a couple of days off, but did'nt see much point unless you are in a rush to get them to root quicker.
