Got 6 Lebenese finishing in the next two weeks (Will Post Pics) and have decided to give my Highland Thai a go next.........

Anyone doing or done these yet ?

Will put them in standard B&Q seedling compost but was wondering as to their feeding !! Followed others advice on the Lebanese and not fed them at all which was the right way to go, and was wondering if the Highland Thai was the same, ie no nutes...

Not as good germination rate with these highlands to the lebs though !! ... Got 6 out of 12 of the highlands compared to 11 out of 12 of the lebs !!

Got 6 female/5 male lebs. Kept the strongest, healthiest, squatest male and manually germinated the females with his pollen (2 weeks ago). Looking to me like they got at least 2 weeks left still if not 3 (Will post pics for further opinions). Currently been 54 days in flower !!.........was planning to do the same with these highlands, again any comments appreciated.....

sorry to hear the germ rate was not so good on the Highland Thais --- this seems to have been consistently reported by growers

I would guess that - as with all RSC strains - these plants will require very low nute levels

the best Highland Thai pheno has a very light green colour and a musky citrusy smell

the green HT would make a great cross with the Lebanese - eg like Matsi's Pheno 1 - they are two strains which can have a very fierce, pushy high when you find the right ones

shame no one has done any reports with this strain outdoors (or at least in a greenhouse) which is where they will show what they are really all about

Not a problem with the germ rate, out of your hands i know !! I kinda expected it after reading some posts on here....

Will do a weekly photo of my HT and a report once in a while and post on here for all to see. Main aim though is to again produce my own seeds of this variety, specially as you are "Low Stock".

Was just glad to see i have 6 to play around with !! Sure to get a healthy male and a female out of them ...... (Fingers Crossed)

(Will store the male HT pollen again for further crosses as you suggest)

Thanks for your help

Photos to follow..............watch this space !!

I have 2 H.T's in my rdwc now.. fortunately/unfortunately they're male.. I'd like to know if there would be a difference in dominance if i used Thai pollen on a budding Leb rather than a male Leb x female Thai???

What I can say is the H.T's are very vigorous and healthy, beautiful plants. I'm now into week 5 of flowering and neither the Lebs or H.T's have minded the nutrients i've been feeding them (A.N 2 part/ big bud/carboload/hammerhead/overdrive/B52/sensizym) Soil may be another story though..
I've started vegging my next grow (Jack Herer/Bubblicious) and planned to do a few Highland Lao in soil along side the hydro setup.. So far after a week 0/5 H.L have popped sad.gif
Not to worry... I have another 5 Lao and 5 H.T's biggrin.gif

Heres a [Lebanese] group shot. Seem to have 3 different phenos, only two of which seem to be any good.

I will discard the seeds from the two on the right !!

what should you start them off in ? seedling compost is as weak a compost you can get
Olivier
Hey BB, How long have they been in flower now? The 2 i have look like the ones in your pic front center and front right..
Big Buddah
Olivier- They bin flowering for 55/56 days now !!

After reading another report (By Matsi) i think, i believed they would be ready about now but these seem to be slower than that. They definately got a week or two left.

If you got a pheno of the ones on the right bad news !! The two on the right of my photo seem to have very little on them. They crystaled but not much bud !! Pretty much a waste of space....

I will only be keeping the seeds from the middle 2 and the 2 on the left of my photo.......i hope i am right in thinking that by disposing of the seeds from the two on the right, the seeds from the remaining have a virtually zero chance of producing phenos of those on the right....?!!

Will post photos of my HT's tomorrow........and also some close-up bud shots of some of the lebs

Here's a shot of one of the {Lebanese} ladies last week......such a dark green, but so healthy.....cant wait to taste her biggrin.gif

Hi Pro Lib

Big Buddah has been posting his Lebanese pics in his Higland Thai thread

It would be a big help if people could be consistent about where they post their pics

Not least it would help people realise we are selling authentic lines!

Thanks, great to see these pics of the Lebanese Big Buddha - how about posting up some pics of your Highland Thai now?

All Best

Hi there, males of the lao and HT are hard to come bye,i have only ever had one male in 6 years.Dusting your female leb is a very good idea, the cross will most likely produce plants that are sat dom as the HT always seems to dominate in the cross, but with a shorter flowering period.I look forward to seeing the outcome when grownSF smoke.gif HERES A NOT SO GOOD PHOTO OF LAO STICKS
