I wanna go when my divorce is through and I get my settlement, and I'd like to treat a good mate of mine whos helped me through the hard times. I'd ideally like to fly from Birmingham, and Ive heard BMI baby are the absolute cheapest around?

I've recently come back from the Dam,The cheapest i found was £100 return using BMI Baby from Birmingham airport for a 3 day break. You can knock £15 off this though if you only take hand luggage.
willowisp
Well I reckon you can stuff all the clobber you need for a weekend in a sports holdall or summat, so hand luggage it is!

Was gonna go to latvia or summat and fire ak47s, have lapdances from icicle eyed blondes, drink ace beer for a quid a pint and everything, but it's amsterdam...it always wins!

+1 I'm off to the cup in November and bmi baby was < £90 from East Midlands, easily cheapest, although they try and add allsorts on i.e. luggage, choosing seats, normal checkin etc
shafty420
jus booked my tix £50 return with easysket

I'd suggest getting a ferry over.
Cheaper than airfare, customs are more lax.
Takes longer but it's safer in my opinion.

Newcastle -> Amsterdam is about £40 return.

e2a: I'd shy away from the cup, in my experience weed prices actually rise for it.

Air fares are VERY seasonal. Going virtually anywhere during the school holidays will be expensive. For cheap flights go about November time. I once flew back to the UK a few days before Xmas - it was dead cheap and the plane was 2/3 empty - all you Christmas sun seeking Brits were coming this way.
And you will never get anything really cheap from Gatwick or Heathrow. Fly from Stansted or somewhere else dead awkward to get to.

i just got the euro train from folkstone to pas do calais for 70 quid with the bike & tanked up 2 times to do 300km whistling.gif

Safer for "accidentally" bringing something back and not getting caught?

Or safer in that by going by ferry there is no chance of plummeting out of the sky in a fireball to your death?
lol.gif

My mate never goes by plane as he is terrified of flying. lol.gif. But he also always brings back more than he would dare to than if he were to fly.

2 times due to winning competitions, I've gone over for free, but the cheapest I've payed was £80 return when easyjet first started doing cheap offers.

For the price of weed in Dam these days and the shite euro, you're better off growing your own....

e.g. £10-15 a gram for mediocre weed just isn't worth it....even for the good stuff like LA Con or a decent SSH.

So, even if the flight is cheap everything else will be in euros and cost the earth. It's fine for other Europeans who are already screwed by the euro, but we get super screwed these days.

Grow your own and find a blowjob locally wink1.gif

The Euro is strong, the pound has been shite - hence a weak pound won“t buy so many Euros. But the pound has slowly improved from the bottom of the pit.

Goodtimes will you stop posting that about soup and maps in every bleedin thread in this section?

well mate
many moon's ago
when i was hitching around
i was leaving the dam to come back to scotland
i went up to the bus park to the side of central train station
looked around for a coach from my neck of the woods
seen one in a few min's ...asked the coach park attendant where the driver was
he said he was in the pub over there, which had me worried , driver in the pub?...
so in went over to see, and he was drinking coffee not booze
which was a bit more like it....;
so sat down , got chatting, plenty of seats on the bus
one for me i ask ? in a cheeky way, but hey it always works for me and it did again
sure mate be leaving in a hour he said
sorted i said
i was only looking for a lift to the boat and got a lift to about 1 mile from my home
door to door nearly
so being the generous scotsman i gave him a tenner for his troubles

if you want to get to the dam the cheapest way
get your kilt on and get your thumb out
