If your growing with organic i nutes mollasses a really good boost to the microherd, which in turn should help your plants absorb the organic nutes better, and lead to bigger buds. I top up my biobizz feeds with a teaspoon of mollasses per 6 ltr, and about 4ml of seaweed extract / ltre (you can use catalyst at a lower dose), every 3rd or 4th feed and swear the buds visibly expand overnight everytime I do it.

Affects on flavour - who knows - try it and see what you think.

Never used PK13/14 but would imagine it'll screw your microherd over if you are organic growing. On the other hand if you are growing with chem nutes anyway, I doubt that mollasses will have much of a beneficial affect.

Edit for spelling..

Pretty much all the way through veg and flower every 10 to 14 days. I use a little less Grow and Bloom than most but only cos I'm growing under enviros. As far as I know mollasses doesn't have much in the way of NPK, just a little K. I've heard of a few people use mollasses only as a weak feed for the last week of flowering.

Just wondering could malt extract be used like mollases after all its a simple raw sugar like substance and would be digestable by the microbes

Maybe he'll agree to someone trawling through the site and putting togethor the "Collected Quotes of OT1 - thoughts and musings on the Cultivation of Cannabis" unsure.gif wink.gif .....bit like books you can get on Gandhi....... rofl.gif

Sorry OT1 if you are reading....... ph34r.gif whistling.gif

e2a - Actually Joolz I'm sure there is some cash to be made for the site from that idea.......
ratdog
Ghandi? I didn`t know he grew.

thing with most grow books is they obviously have to keep things simple enough for beginners to cope with and cover all different mediums/methods so for someone who has a few grows under their belt and wants to know more indepth stuff on organics they arent much good. OT's grow knowledge on paper would be great cool.gif probably be a longer read than the bible! rofl.gif

cant remember the name of the book i read on my first grow but i do know everything in it was booted out of my mind after discovering this place smoke.gif

In the continuous research for my organic grows I've been copying and pasting pertinent posts from OT1 and others - Felix, Arnold, Leppy et al to a big text file below my distilled grow schedule with categorized sections ie Plant Magic use, EWC, Fishmix, Coco, Humates etc so I can refer to them quickly when I've forgotten what or why I'm doing/using whatever I'm doing.
A method I'd reccomend to anyone.
It's faster than a search or thread link list though quite big and although its a bit specific to my enviorment & funds I've often thought about sharing it or making a webpage with a contents link list.
problems with this could be getting user authority to replicate posts and the somtime contradictory info / opionions expressed by other users... guess this could be overcome if on a webpage if a comments / suggestions / update facility was provided.

sounds a plan smoke.gif maybe OT/Owd etc could read through if they have the time and then have it hosted on the site for people to download smile.gif
