hi,
i was brewing up some essence last night, and the pump vibrated into a funny position and put a kink in the tube so was only lightly bubbling, ive sorted it now an is frothing away now, how long should i leave it till i can use it?

If I'm not mistaken(I brew compost tea) the foamy head on it indicates the presence of activity, unless there is ssomething specific about essence as soon as you see the head on it it should be fine...

It shouldn't take more than 6 hrs, so it just depends how long it's been on for

It states 12 hours on the directions but I can't get to mine for nearer 24 hrs. Anybody know if it will still be okay?

I know it's not strictly relevant but I keep compost teas around for a while, occasionally toping up with molasses or treacle, I can't think why it wouldn't be okay, at most I would suggest a little more molasses in the brew

I may be on the wrong track here but the stimulation of the myco-herd is at least similair with essence and compost teas

I think between 12 hours and 24 hours should be fine,mines really frothy after 12,sure ive read this is minimal time tho,as long as its frothy its working (active)

ive had it on since 8 last night, but cos of the kink in the tube overnight it was only slightly bubbling. i sorted it at about 10 this morning. might just do it and give em another in a week, saves leaving it till tmora when am rough
