Hi all,
Can anyone tell me if i will get lotsa smell from a mother and clones growing untill they reach sexual maturity or does the smell start when they go into flower??
i have a cupboard in the kitchen id like to use for vegin/mother keeping but if the stink is strong ill have to rething..

depends greatly on the strain m8, but i dont think that most plants really start to pong untill the`ve been put into flower, my mazar and orangebud certainly didnt smell too bad until they`d went 12/12.

I've got two pretty well developed Sweetooth #3 mothers in a cupboard in my kitchen, under fluoros with no extraction, and I've had a policeman in my kitchen who never noticed the smell, it's very faint...s'pose it is strain dependant though.

thats one way of testing the smell, a mate of mine was growing powerplant, 1 month into veg his entire house stank to high heaven of the herb, like MDP said it depends on the strain.
What do you have on the go at the moment?

ya some plants smell worse in veg than other do but mostly its when the plants strat to mature it smells more last grow my house pure stunk of cheesy feet not good also them ore plants ya do the more yar smell will be nuetradol works okish for masking smells or maybe a ioniser works good too but ys cant bat a carbon filter they work wicked
the NL/BB/AFGHANI was fine never stunk much untill you moved a branch or plant then it reeked bigtime

Try using some of those glade circulair things
I use a couple arround the house to keep the mum smells down
I Use a carbon filter for the main veg/bloom room
