Hello Just SayMaybe.. My 1st killer showed sex at 43 days veg.The 6 cuttings i took all showed a little roots after 6 days and where transplanted at 10 days..
The seed plants are at 16 days flower and i have abused them quite a bit (left them in the bath for a few weeks and ignored them pinch.gif )They don't seem to mind tho and are flowering faster than my uk cheese..Not smoked the KS yet tho so i hope i get a keeper..
Good luck..

im confused about the 5-6 weeks?? 5- 6 weeks of growth? 5-6 weeks of flower?

to be sure you need to put them into flower to get them to produce either male or female flowers.. they will usually show their sex within a week or 2 of being in flower. pre-flowers dont always show you the correct sex . ive had plants that i would swear were females then a few days later into flower banana sacks appear..

unless KS is an auto flowering plant... ?

ive found that when a plant get to a certain age, say 4 - 6 weeks (veg) that the show sex an most of mine always have before i put into flower and have always been correct, isnt it to do with it reaching maturity of something, could be wrong but i veg 6 weeks and most of the time show sex before i switch 12/12

my killers showed very early on if i remember correctly

my killers showed sex quite early from my experience with other strains and by george im glad i took cuttings as i have 3 phenos all together but 2 very distinct phenos that i hope i never loose, tis a right royal cracking smoke and a no-brainer to grow, never has there been such a strain that gives so much for so little(effort 13.gif )

My killers showed sex at about week 6 if I recall. But its best to be patient and sure. I think Mr C maybe doen't wait long enough to be sure about gender, its certainly not needed to put plants into flower for certainty's sake. A vegging plant will always reveal its true gender, given the time, which is usually about seven or eight weeks. The longest I've ever waited in the last eight years or so is nine weeks; 90% of plants I've grown have shown gender truly by week 8.

The more I read about this strain, the happier i get.

Haven't grown for a few years so was looking for great new beans. Narrowed it down to OG#18 or Killer Skunk. And it was down to you good people that I chose the KS. Strong genetics, great quality, yield and ease of grow and UK bred too.

Because of the strong genetics, I won't bother cloning to establish sex, and if one does go hermie then thats thats the way it goes.

Germinating them this weekend and will do a diary- if i can figure out how.....

Thanks for the advice people, found out what i wanted to know.
