Hi all.
I was wondering what the difference is between the blue and green Primair controllers. The reason is, I won a fleabay auction and the pic in the auction was a green controller..... a blue one has turned up.
If there is no difference then fair enough, but if the green ones are better, I may have to get back in touch with with the seller.

Thanks.... Burton

i'm 99.9999% sure that they just changed the colour but I can find out from my supplier if you're still unsure?

I got one a few weeks back the manufacture date on the side is 22/04/2009 so quite sure blue is the more recent model, although internally I reckon they are just the same.

Well they are changing it very soon if not already to a design that a certain someone posted on here a while ago whistling.gif Basicaly the new one is fuckin fantastic compared to the current one. It will have to same method of slowing the that the airforce one's (no buzzing) use! and this is the great part! it will activley track the temp of the room and adjust the speed accordingly. As oppose to just kicking the fan in at full speed! So incase your wondering why this is great it means that your air flow will be what it NEEDS to be rather than just slow or fast. So your humididty wont all get sucked away if you need it to stay higher (vegging), it will just keep it cool and not to humid. Plus theres the issue of noise, So it won't come on at full power and suddenly become really loud it will increase gradualy as required! yahoo.gif

Kind regards, Maxi ;-)

I returned a green primair because it was faulty and my new one was a blue one. I was told it was just a different coloured box etc. but that the primair was the same.

I was talking to the owner of that shop as i wanted some advice about setting my new place and he told me that the SPC controller do cause a small buzz but its not much. However, he did mentions the makers of the SPC controller and going to release a new version at the end of August that will have no buzz at all. Im trying to wait until that ones out before i order wink.gif

I cannot agree more regarding how it runs mark111111 thumbsup.gif It controls the temps , humidity and a heater yahoo.gif and it can even control a CO2 machine for those that want to get extra anal at a later stage. nerd.gif It really is a nice piece of kit.

However it is not very intuitive & you need to study the small but somewhat confusing manual in great detail, especially if you like reading manuals while blazing a fatty like I do. smoke.gif Also, don't make the same mistake I did! I set a place for it on the other side of my GR to where the plug sockets are before it arrived only to find that you need to hold down buttons during power up to get into certain functions doh.gif But luckily once set, it runs without need to touch again cool.gif

I have both the Primair and the Eco Technics. I believe the Primair modules are made up & sent out with custom labels for each distributor. I have the Green label on mine, becase I got mine from Growell & has Growell printed on the label.
