Hi,

I've not posted on here for a long time, but I thought it was the best place to come for little advice

We arrive in Amsterdam ~19:30 or so, and by the time we get to the Hotel and drop off our goods and get into town it will most likely be ~20:30 or so, I wondering if Coffee Shops will still be open to break the ice of our little holiday? If so any recommendations?

Any advice would be good, also a recommended Bike hire outlet would be great too.

My usual recommendation would be the Grey Area but the likelihood of it being open at that time is slim (you should definitely try to visit though, best weed in town imo). There are a few decent coffeeshops that should be open though, my recommendations apart from the Grey Area (assuming your plan is to find some good weed ) would probably be the Abraxis, Homegrown Fantasy or the Greenhouse. If you're a hash smoker the Dampkring should be open too, the hash selection is awesome, but I find their buds have usually left a little to be desired.

The Grea Area shuts at 8pm, try De Dampkring as they are normally open past midnight, also a Dampkring shop on Haarlemmerstraat now where Pink Floyd used to be.

For bike hire check Frederic's out as I have found that he will do you an incognito traditional dutch style bike for the best prices in town, stay in the bike lane and you will be fine .

Thanks for the feedback, sounds like I won't encounter to many problems, I shall keep those names in my head and hopefully I shall be sorted

I'm looking for quality, but I'm fairly particular about the stone ... I grew Mazar a couple of years ago and that was so a good stone, no Paranoia etc...

Any recommendations on strains which are a nice mix of High but yet relaxed, mainly looking for some stuff which has some CBD in it too, to keep my head bit sane for the few days

Also my Lady will be her first real smoking experience, Vapourisers++ should make her throat happier

I've been looking up the Dampkring coffee shop and appears to be a very respectable place, This i think shall be my first stop most defiantly ... It appears to be one of the first coffee shops from where my Hotel is too. FTW!

Most coffeeshops are open until 1am so you've no worries on time.A few of my favourites are Amnesia,Grey area,420,Dampkring and Basjoes to name a few!,I love this time of year as well being able to sit on the patios outside watching the world go by!
