got some cuts rooting atm

is it cool to spray essence on them and the rooting cubes???

if so, should i still add catalyst or will it burn them??

id leave the catalyst out for now,might be abit hot for them unsure.gif

You should be fine adding a small amount of the catalyst, this helps aid the plant build up a resistance, rooting amongst many other things.

I would recommend adding 0.5ml per litre of activated Essence mix.

What about using essence on cuttings that haven't rooted? Or spraying the mum with essence and taking cuts as soon as it has dried? Will the bacteria and fungi in essence feed on the cut until it has healed over and produced roots? I think that rooting powders contain fungicide, so maybe that would keep the cut protected from the microorganisms in essence until it has healed over and rooted?

Nothing in essence feeds on plants, the surfaces will remain populated, it does not inhibit callusing, if any part is dipped in a fungicide it will only kill the organisums in the area dipped.
