booked ourselves into a swish 5*hotel (barbizon palace opposite central station) for dirt cheap but shhh she dont know that!

want to know fun stuff to do in teh day, other than blazing, and then also the best places to go which are super chilled and friendly, preferably with pool tables etc. price not so worried about, been saving up for these 4 days for months! just prefer somewhere open fairly late, and just super cool and relaxed with good bud. also, places to avoid, certain bud to try and different place nd shizzle bizzle like that

also, wanted to know how they feel about sparking up in the parks, if its allowed or not really, and if places are well against people putting a bit o baccy into joints, coz i cannay afford to be rolling pure joints at 15 euro a gram!!! or if they have to be rolled pureee

one final question at last anyone had any experience taking bud back with them on the plane (were talkin a few grams here, not quantities) any tips or is it a really fuckin stupid idea, bearing in mind i have no convictions etc to draw attention to me.....

Nes is a great bar.

Museums are world class.....Historic Museum, Van Gough, Stedelijk and Rijksmuseum are all worth a look.
Try and find a few of the hidden gardens.......the botanical gardens are great if the weather is good.

Boom Chicago is good if you like a comedy show.

Go for a great Mexican at Los Pilones.

I don't think anyone care if you put baccy in your splif.
There is a place that has really comfy chairs and bean bags thats nice to chill in but I can't remember what its called, I'm sure someone will know on here.

I go to the irish pub for my breaky, its off the main square, someone is normally holding a sign potting to it. Green house do a nice hot chocolate and some nice bud to . I liked the gray area coffee shop, nice bud but a bit cramped
As for bring some bud/hash back I always did, once I wrapped it in cling film and put it in my shower gel and once I just put it down my boxers (about a eighth of different hash) and got though fine, You could try posting some I've done it a few times. I didn't see the point of bringing back bud as I always had quality at home but never could get good hash unless I did it myself so thats what i would bring back, some nice temple ball yum. If I'm right there is a coffee shop that will vac wrap the bud for you.

Haarlem lies to the east of Amsterdam.
There are at least 3 trains per hour from Central Station to Haarlem - 15/20 minute journey.

sounds like you havent been for a while - i've been recently and if they see you skin up with baccy or smell it in your joints they go fucking mental - we were even asked to leave one place

coffeeshop owners are shitting themselves now with the impending restrictions and further closures so they all want to be as legit as possible

of course there must be places that dont care but more and more wont let you use baccy!

i was there a month ago , must have visited about 40 coffee shops . out of all of them only one coffeeshop said that they could smell cigerette in our splifs and he only did that as we went in there for a drink and a smoke, but the fella there expected our whole group to by their weed. Keep tobacco product off the table and generally you will be fine.

the old church has pooltables, a bar and a good selection of budssss. think i got some northern lights...

The zoo was a tram ride, not far though, probably about 10 minutes or something max, its pretty awesome, got some real nice big cats etc

Amsterdam zoo is world class. And don´t forget the van Gogh museum - get yourself a nice print.

I've only recently come back from the dam.as long as you do not make it obvious and leave baccy around everything is cool,in fact after speaking to several coffeeshop owners and asking about baccy laws they even said as long as you're not making it obvious theres nothing they can do,in other words " i did'nt see you!".

She loves the hash over there, she's trained now, knows hood hash and weed just off the taste.

I've done nothing in the dam apart from concerts! So how about checkin of there's any live music on while your there! They have a great converts church as a venue, proper spot on!

Had no probs with tabs and coffee shops, just don't leave them on table, on show!

Your not supposed to walk around streets smoking weed so parks would be the same I think! Then again though, I've smoked plenty just walking around, just respect others and find a spot away from others and you should be fine!

Obviously it's Amsterdam so you could always go on a boat trip!

I think Amsterdam is a reasonably safe place but a word of warning at night, with your g/f don't take any chances like walk down back allys in red light district etc, better safe than sorry, also do not accept drinks off anyone and don't leave drinks unattended! Heard a few horror storys, which are unfortunately true!

Yeah, the Melqueg is usually pretty good, its by the Leidseplein. The Prodigy, all sorts have played there recently. And they have good club nights...go to the big H and M store on leidsestraat and there's usually a dj on at wekends, by him theres loads of flyers for club nights and gigs.

The big museum is being renovated now I think...only half is open, but still worth a walk round.

anne frank house is worth the visit, go early morning while its quiet, and its not a good idea to go stoned. the reality of the horrors of that time, during nazi occupation, are bad enough when you're not stoned. great pancake shop next to anne frank house, and a stroll up through jordaan by the westerkerk afterwards if its a nice day. wish it was me going next week

Absolutely love Dam though, went with the missus on Queens day (Their Queens Bday) in april and it was like Carnival but without any drama just happy friendly people. We really wanna go in November for the anual Cannabis Cup but will have to see how work goes.

Spent most of my time in The Dolphin, Staff are friendly and they play some great movies like scarface etc...

Take lots of money though as we found its as expensive as living in central london when it comes to eating etc etc....

Oh and stay away from some of those (very few that there are) dodgy guys down allys trying to sell you coke and other dirty drugs like crack, speed etc etc... They normally aproach you with "Speak English?" to which i normally reply "Nah sorry geaze"

Other then that the place is beautiful, Very Very nice people, clean city and plenty to do like someone else said plenty of museums. Also if your taking your missus, go to the Diamond place to see some Phat Diamonds. She should like that

I went for the Cup. The americans seem to fall for the "Judges Pass" bullshit and you won't see them, because some coffeeshops are only open to judges only and that's where they hang out.
Other coffeeshops seemed dead, i mean bear in mind it's in November and it's cold as shit in Amsterdam at this time.
You also pay inflated prices for the weed.

Some of those little Irish bars that are out of the way are actually pretty good, theres another one right in leidseplein square, by where they put the ice rink in winter...does a proper irish coffee for breakfast with jamesons in it!
