A friend is using a twin 8 pot amazon system which is set up in the corner of a bedroom. The fans an everything are boxed in and are silent and are also switched off at night, the only problem is the pump on the amazon is quite noisy? Is there any quieter (is that even a word) pumps out there that can replace it? Think its a maxi-jet 1000 on it as standard.
Thanks

Raising the pump on a sponge base will help but there are no quieter pumps as I have one and it's the quietest pump I have used.

If it's an external pump, and is possible, hang it from ceiling, and use a rubber band as a connector at one end to act as a vibrational damper.
Also if an airstone is involved suspending it so there is no contact on the bottom could help though is fiddly sometimes.
Good luck. . .
