the females have showed themselves and have now been potted up yahoo.gif

the nepalese female is getting quite tall and tying down has been essential but the mazaar is looking lovely too but not growing as tall - it might be pot bound so this potting up should sort it out we have about 2 weeks of veg time left down here maybe 3.

the shiberghan i have is a male but he will be used for breeding so im intending to cross it with the nepalese ,mazaar and some randoms i have.

i will only pollinate the lower branches of the chosen females and i hope to do this without getting the rest of the plants pollunated as well

i'll try it with a minimal amount of pollen and then put a small bag over the selected branch but thats not going to be for a few weeks..any tips would be great.

che
Looking good toki where abouts are you in the growers paradise.......
toki
hi che thanks for showing an interest

im near barcelona so im more than a stones throw away!

heres the update - the ladies are zooming along now in their new pots and soil

its just the nepalese and the mazaar left as the shiberghan was a male, hes been taken away to be used for breeding and will certainly pollinate the 2 girls that are here, but only the lower branches.

so a group shot of the two first nepalese on the left mazaar on the right, and the head of the shib before it was taken away.

the nep has had a break /bend in the top due to high winds but has now formed a nice knuckle

The plants look great. They are loving that sun.
toki
i dread to think what they would be like if they were planted in march cry.gif

these were planted as seeds on june the 18th.

these will both be tied down ,to avoid them towering over the wall as the national sport here is nicking pot plants , these are in very large clay pots with lots of soil and are very heavy so hopefully....

thanks mr w and namkha

they certainly do love the sun here and grow like mad

the side branching on the nep is lovely , the mazaar has some catching up to do but it is starting to go side ways now too

feeding is not an issue - just pot up and the new soil from that gives them all they need.....

Wow looking good mon, whats the bug do,is it a muncher or laying eggs[spanish stone fly] god it looks nice with all that sun. biggrin.gif

hi folks its been a while had lots of changes and i had to leave where i was staying.

it turns out the plants have been nicked which, all concerned , are not very pleased about.

so here are the last shots of the mazaar and the nepalse 2 weeks before they were pinched...

just starting to get into the swing of flowering...... cry.gif

toki
toki
and here is the nepalese , she was slightly behind the mazaar by about 2 weeks at a guess...

nep just over 2 meters the mazaar was just under they were only planted the last week of june too.

it would have been nice to see how these turned out.

one of my friends has a mazaar in the same conditions and the smell is meant to be lovely and the plant very resinous..... never mind, onward and upward...

toki
r1rider
Thats real sad news about your plants getting nicked Toki, i wish you better luck in your new place.

People who steal plants should be dragged to the moon on the outside of space shuttles!
toki
thanks guys - but all is well now

i had misunderstood that these plants had been nicked but it was some others.

so the nepalese and mazaar live on and they look lovely too.

piccys up when i resize photos.

lovely looking plants mate... very inspiring, cant wait to see what sort of yields you get off them. im doing the outdoor thing next year here in greece with some thc seeds ive got specifically for the purpose. ran out of time this year but had a skunk no1 that came bac to life on the balcony and i put in the ground when it started flowering, nothing special in terms of yield but the taste and smell compared with the others (same pack) that were grown indoors was incomparable.
my heart sank when i read yours had been nicked and rose again when i read youd made a mistake!
good luck and will be back to see what happens

a few tokes later..... stoned.gif

burningfire
very nice, how does your nepalese smell?
cam mcneil
class! that technicolour mystery is lovely, bit jealous if im honest (no smoke and none on the horizon for three months+ cry.gif .)
are they still only getting water and is it rain collected, tap or perhaps posh bottled?
cam
Fergie
can you take a cutting at this stage? if so, i suggest you do
toki
hi all

cam-
they have been given tap water , which is 'campo' water or water for country dwellings/farms etc, i filter it before drinking personally but the plants get it direct from the tap and rain water when it rains.

fergie - im sure you could take a cutting but would it revert back to veg and stress out, i dunno but i aint got the equipment for indoor propagation if i did have i definately would have taken a few cuttings off each, before they went into flower cool.gif

ill deffo be getting more of these seeds as they certainly look like they are from the country of origin and im extremely happy about it.

toki
soul stripper
thanks for keeping the lanrace strains goin.
toki
it still is a pleasure.....
