Hey

My future setup will be lighted with 200W CFL Envirolite. One for vegetation and one for flowering. I have gotten a bulb holder which is 25-35cm wide. (Depending on how I bend the metal on the holder, its called "Bat... something... so it is for flexing)

Now the question...
How much heat does the bulb produce? And will it be safe with a growbox which is 40cm deep if I have the bulbholder at around 25-28cm?

PS: I cant find anything on the market which is deeper than 41cm :/

With the right extraction anything is possible.

What do you mean by extraction?
Sorry Im not brotish so I might be a little undereducated when it comes to some terms. cool.gif

The heat produced is very little, although it will build up if you don't use a fan to suck the warm stale air out, and replace it with cooler air.
hope this helps.

Aha! smile.gif
Well I dont think that will be a problem since Im planning on getting a 100mm inline fan for exhaust (witf a carbonfilter ofc) and prolly a intake fan as well to get the air flowing through. Havent decided yet about the second fan. Might as well just get a grill on the bottom of my growdrobe.

Thx for help guys smile.gif

PS: 3x Blue Ryder auto flowering (just to get something fast so I have something to smoke before I start proper growing^^)
10x White Widdow

If you decide to do without an active intake make sure you do your homework on light proofing passive intakes or you will end up with light leaks which will wreck your crop.
