Hello mate,

I've just set up a bubbler myself so I'll impart my (limited) wisdom.

I think it might be worth letting it run over night first for the first night. I got a PH fluctuation (probably due to the clay balls) that I corrected (although not absoloutely necessarey). You could always just adjust it the next day with your clones in, it really won't do much harm.

Screw it just do it!

with the autopot mats do you need a clayball bed?on mat or just a good mix into the soil ,or both ????

Auto pots rock! band.gif I have just clay pebbles in mine but I noticed that when the big fan was on, that they moved around to much so I put a layer of nutrient free soil on top, and that fixed it right up sorcerer.gif
I didn't do it this time but could you chop rock wool cubes up in to little bits and mix it to the mix so they kinda have pockets of nutrients to hit? not sure if that last bit would work

Never used them but from what I read you should put a 1-2 inch layer of clay pebbles in the bottom of the pots then fill with either soil or coco (coco would be my choice of medium).

I would probably grow the clones in 1-2 litre pots before transplanting into the autopot system and then hand water for the first 1-2 weeks before relying on the system to water the plants.

I'll pm you a guide on how to set them up but I would still ask around for more info.

done four grows using them mate

i wouldnt use any other system on the market because im a lazy gardner and have really good yields.

there really is nothing to know about them.

couple of inches of pebbles is vital
fill to the top with coco
pre soak your coco in a weakend feed (say qtr strength) ph 5.8
airstone in the res
use the domes or put an air stone in each tray aswell
set the ph 5.8

and thats it, theres nothing to do inbetween the res change.
autopots are that easy to use they supply them to primary schools children to grow stuff .
follow the simple list of must do's, sit back and relax guitar.gif guitar.gif

i grow from seed and put them straight into the system as soon as they germ. hand feed for a week then turn on the autopot and let it do the rest. these pics are 3 weeks from germanation
