Just thought you guys might like to know about this.. I have just done a bit of blue-peter'ing lol.gif, All you need is 8 black sacks and some parcel tape. With shorter plants you might get away with just putting 4 bin bags inside each other (or more, depends on thickness of each sack, 4 of mine was complete blackout) Then joining all the edges together and squeezing air out from between each sack. For my lanky monsters though I wanted a taller/longer cover so I used an extra 4 sacks, cut the bottom bit off to make a tube and just extended each sack to twice the length before putting them inside each other. Popped it over me and ta-daaaaaa no light AT ALL. I will start tonight putting this over mine and see what happens - probably nothing rofl.gif

Thanks, I did think about that actually.. Have bought myself a patio heater cover today - £1.98 bargain, its made from a thick black fabric like black out fabric.. excellent and it zips up so its far easier to put on and off guitar.gif

Put some canes around the inside of the pot splaying outwards, making a sort of cage so the plastic liners are not in contact with the plant when covered up, otherwise it will most certainly get a fungal problem if the humidity is to high inside the cover and its in contact with the plant.

Good luck,
GG
