my friends mum got cancer end of 07 beginning of 08 i think it was, she went through chemotherapy and after a long draw out process the cancer went away.
a few months ago the cancer returned, ive not seen my mate in a little while but last i spoke to him his mum was refusing to go back onto chemo cause she just couldnt face it.
ive spoken to him about seeing if she would use cannabis as a pain relief but she is very straight and no doubt thinks smokers are on about the same level as crack addicts, i think if she could be educated a little into the real truth about cannabis she my actually try it as a medicinal drug.
the first step is getting the right book, something not to heavy and technical or she may just chuck it in the bin after a couple of pages.
cheers

Depending on what she's like, maybe Jack Herer's 'Emperor's...' book might open her mind a bit. wink1.gif

yeh that was the first thing i thought of Leepy but shes not into pc's and it would take some convincing her to look at an this site, if she had a book and spare time on her hands which she has a lot of then theres a good chance she might have a sneeky look at it and once she's got interested she'll hopefully read the whole thing see the light and have a totaly new outlook on the subject, hopefully, she could also chuck it straight in the bin.

is that the actual chapters of the book on that site scribble?
ive not read this or anything else on the subject for that matter but i think what she will need is a book that concentrates more on the medicinal side of things rather than why it should be legalised.

Yep - it's the whole book. thumbsup.gif

Maybe just print out some relevant chapters/sections from the Jack Herer book I linked to in my above post. wink1.gif

Possibly Chapters 6,7,10 + 15 in particular.

there is a video in there, i think its a bit exaggerated in my opinion, but there is some evidence to it, needs more research going into it.
