Morning all, havn't posted on here for a few years now...

Over the next few months i'm gonna be attempting my first indoor grow, and RSC's selection looks right up my street!

I'm going to be working with limited space and only growing 2 plants, so was thinking of a shortish Indica e.g. Lebanese or Mazar I Sharif???

Im assuming the all Sats will be unsuitable for a compact indoor grow?

on a complete aside heres a small collection of some beautiful plants i found whilst travelling in northern himachal pradesh around late september last year.

This guy was a joker, he spent half an hour teaching me how to hand rub properly, and then tried to sell me the results for 300 rupees rofl.gif
i just settled for my much smaller, much greener lump...

these two photos were taken on the way to rohtang i think... the buds were unbelievable and it was just growing wild in a farmers field...Click to view attachment

had the pleasure of smoking a few different types of charas... quite suprised by the variation within two valleys (kullu and parvati.) I found the preconception that the more squidgy the better that seems to be dominant over here is not true at all in these parts, smoked some crazy nice but really hard bits around naggar.
Even had the pleasure of smoking some genuine Manali cream which i can safely say is some of the nicest charas i have ever smoked, completely different to the generic, tasteless shit sold as "manali cream" i smoked in dam a few years ago. Really amazing soaring, clear high that levelled out after about an hour to great buzzy, giggly stone.

Sorry have pulled this thread away from its original purpose...

Great picks there CaptinS, looks like you had a great time. Ashame you havent got any of the charris? .. I would love to travel India, My gran perents actaully moved from Calcutta when my perents were kids.. we havent been back really as of yet. I dont think my perents would like to go back there anyways they said the Poverty was too bad- and didnt wanna remind themselfs again.

Would definitely recommend reaching India if you can, mind bending place! Although there is crippling poverty in parts of the north it is not the same situation as in Calcutta, the areas are more agricultural and rely on subsistence farming.
Any thoughts strain wise anyone?

hey Captain Scratch

love the pics

to answer your question: for indoors, go with the Lebanese - see Matsi's thread --- they will stay very nice and compact, and yield big

the Mazar-i-Sharif will produce large and small plants, and the larger plants will be more of a challenge indoors

the Lebanese are the best bet indoors for sure

----

yes, you are right about the charas ---- some of the hard jungli has an amazing high --- and the Naggar jungli can be very good just as you say --- our Kullu Jungli, available as part of the Jungli Three Pack
http://therealseedcompany.com/products.php?product_id=7
is from Naggar - higher up round Chandrakani Pass

and yes - the charas in Amsterdam is 99.99% bullshit --- very well faked bullshit, but nevertheless total bullshit.... makes me so angry that lots of people think that fake 'Dam shit is real

I wish more people could smoke the real deal from the Himalaya

thanks for the quick response namkha,
can't wait for next years outdoor season so i can get stuck in with some of your sats...your jungli pack looks like a great starting point.

... clocked matsis thread just after i posted this and they look perfect.

What about the Shiberghan though, would that be suitable for a compact indoor grow?

cheers -captain walkman.gif
namkha
yes, the Shiberghan is also an option

the Shiberghan we have very low stock of

the Lebanese will be the easiest
