This is how it is written in the instructions that come with the Essence, although it neglects to mention bio-wetter because that isn't part of the starter pack. It also doesn't mention that the solution should be further diluted down, by 2 parts water to 1 part essence solution, once the LSF is under control. The amount of cataylst mentioned is also too much, unless the essence solution is further diluted. About 1-1.5ml of catalyst per litre of final solution is best.

Step One

Place the required amount of water into the container/bucket. Connect the air pump and place the stone into the water.

Aerate for at least one hour to evaporate any possible traces of chlorine.

Step Two

Make sure that the water feels tepid to warm to the touch.

DO NOT exceed 35C as this will kill the beneficial organisms.

Add the molasses at the rate of one teaspoon per litre of water and aerate for 10 minutes to ensure the molasses has thoroughly dissolved.

For best results use a heater to maintain the temp between 30C and 33C.

Step Three

Add the Essence at the rate of one teaspoon per litre of water. Be sure to sprinkle in finely to avoid lumps in the mixture.

Stir well and aerate for 12 hours.

Caution: As the bio-culture multiplies, it will start to froth, be sure to keep away from electrical appliances, animals and children.

Step Four

After 12 hours remove the stone and place the mixture into a pump sprayer. Add to this the Catalyst at the rate of 3ml per litre.

Pump the sprayer just enough to have a spray and set the nozzle to a coarse spray.

Too fine a spray or too much pressure could result in shredding the membrane around the beneficial species.

Spray all aerial parts of the plant/s. Any surplus can be used to water through the tops of the pots.

Use the remaining catalyst as instructed on the bottle.

Thank you very much mate thumbsup.gif

remember though if you dilute it with water

the water has to have been bubbled or the chlorine will kill the essence

Unless it's been boiled and filtered, or if you're using mineral water.

I simply add 3L of water to a 5L empty water bottle like this one Click to view attachment then i add 1 tablespoon of mollasses and bubble for an hour or 2 at between 30-35c.

Then after the hour or 2 i add 3-5ml of catalyst along with 5-6g of essence and bubble for 12 hours keeping the temps at around the 25-35c.

After the 12 hours its always nice and frothy so i know its worked so i simply add another 5-10ml of catalyst then i add 4.5ml of bio-wetter and thats us ready to get spraying.

For me it was easier to do it this way as i couldn't bubble the 2 different lots of water at the same time like the way pro lib did his and i'm pretty sure i seen OT1 do the same or similar to way i do it a while back, only difference i think was it was an old 5L bio-bizz bottle, could be wrong though maybe i'm thinking of something else lol.gif
