Hi guy's,
I'm used to the IWS but now I'm trying something different. I'm gonna do a grow using smallish but separate tents. So I need to find a system that will fit completely inside a tent 1.2M as there's no room around the tent apart from the walkway in front of it. Which I can't block as I wouldn't be able to get etc. I was thinking either 1 big ass plant in a flo-gro/water farm type thing. Or 4 plants in a sort of flood and drain, bubblers, Aero set up. I'm not bothered about NFT at all. But am open to any other ideas.
Kind regards, Maxi ;-)

Dualflow. Can be used as NFT or flood and drain.
Measures 1.2 x .6 m. Two fit perfect in a 1.2 tent

Wilma 16 fits perfick into a 1.2 x1.2. No room to spare mind.
if you want some breathing space. Try an 8

Thanks peeps,
How many plant's does the dual flow have? I don't want more than 4 but preferably 1.
So Wilma is out unfortunately. Not to keen on them anyway as I hate dripper systems. I prefer drip rings etc. The 1m square NFT grow tank would be great if it could be modified into a flood and drain/ebb and flow etc. But the big slit at the bottom kinda rules that out.

Kind regards, Maxi ;-)

In fact I've just come across the NEF flood and drain kit. they do one that's approx 1.1m x 1.1m But it's only 4" deep! does anyone have any experience with them? I would like something with a bit more depth ideally. But I'm gonna be scrogging so I don't think it really matters.
Kind regards, Maxi ;-)

Hi, I have a 1.2mx1.2m tent and am currently running 4x 20l bubblers pots with a 4 way pump sat in the middle of them. There is still room to feed them and turn them and the yield results are very good.

I grew 5 plants in the same tent size as yours in a small NFT tank system.
Have just harvested that grow, and have purchased a Wilma 10 pot system. It fits perfectly inside the tent down the middle, with room for heaters/fans etc around the tank. It is perfect for the tent size IMHO.

I'm growing inside a 1.2 by 1.2 metre tent at the mo.
I use 2 x NFT 424 Gro-Tanks.
Each grow tank is about a metre in length and about a half a metre wide, and they have the capacity to hold up to 5 plants each.
I've set them both up at the edges of the tent, so that i've got a 'walkway' running down the middle so I can get inside the tent to adjust the nutrients etc.
I dare say there's plenty of different systems you can use anyways, but that one's worked fine for me.
I got the majority of my kit from Spam.

There are times we are sick, hungover or our head is up our arse because of a domestic. Not only that, I strongly suspect that some of the guys here are stoned out of their gourds while tending their plants.

What gives the most yield long term ime is the system that lets you tend the plants while very much under par. Getting a complex feeding schedule slightly wrong can cost plenty. Were these the ones that needed the xzy additive...oh shit...I've set the pH 0.4 higher than I wanted...oh shit...
Simple setups yield more.

i`m finding the autopot a good simple system, but you would need somewhere to put your tank that is higher than ya pots...

Make your own flood n drain but with the nute tank outside the tent

you have to build most kits anyway so you might as well save alot of money and build your own... I use a 200 liter loft tank as a res which is outside my growroom so I can check whenever I like and keeps temps steady ...which is nice...

i use XL budboxes and i grow in waterfarms with good results. 4x waterfarms will fit nice if you want big plants or 9x if you are going to flower early for single cola plants. the thing i like best about growing in the waterfarms is the fact that you can tailor feeds for the plant speciffically so if you have a plant that is cranking hard or lagging behind you can adjust the ec to suit without nailing/starving the others. it is more work but worth it in my opinion

yeah, I agree. The simplest setup and food schedule will, a majority of the time, produce more.
Less ph & ec problems too with simple feed schedules. like growth technologys - ionic

Sorry to hijack, with nft Gro tank 424 do you have to use any grow media or do you just put the rockwool cubes in the tray? I have yet to figure nft out

Shit I'm meant to tend them
