Anyone recommend some nice old skool pungent sick smelling varieties. Not the fruity,citrusy weeds of the world that every one seems to be blending together but the ones that you have a sniff off and go that smells like pungent shit.

but it was a good few years ago, so ive got a feeling it could be mr nice "black widow"

Agreed its not like cheese at all, but the cheese is super pungent.
Nothing has touched the sides since my chedda jouney ...smell and taste wise..... apart from maybe Donna's Diesel.

i've got a seedsman white widow at about 8 weeks 12/12 that smells a bit shitty.

If you want that old school cat sick smelling peng then i reckon the following...

White Russian, Black/white Widow, G-Force (FDM, not tried Gbomb from Big Buddah but its meant to be similar)... Also the Elephant is pretty sicky smelling but thinks its clone only in Holland.

Hill Temple Collective Skunk IBL - old school skunk flavours in a properly dank smoke. Nowhere near as strong as the exo cheese but just as dank and stinky.

The Pure (Flying Dutchmen) and Blue Moonshine (Dutch Passion) both have the sicky background smell.
Both are knockout smokes too IMHO.

My greenhouse seeds trainwreck smelled like rough dogshit if that's any help. I mean really doggy dogshit-in-the-tread-of-your-shoe-on-a-hot-day dogshit. When smoked it was incredibly pungent skunky smoke smell, tasted nasty too. Like shit smells.

I think my point is guided more to that old skool smell of weed, describing it as shit or cats piss or something just as vulger is about the only way i can describe it. Obviously to taste shit would not be on but to understand the meaning of this post and you can get the jist. Theres nothing better then a lovely bit of pungent weed that stinks your whole flat out and tastes like it smells.

I also read an article in a free weed mag not long ago (cant remember the name) and it was about cheese,exodus and the whole history thing and in there it mentioned that sometime back in the past breeders had bred the smell of skunk out of skunk so that it could be grown more covertly by the humble grower. I mention this because skunk is one of those putrid smells that use to be so great. It use to stink a room out no problem and after starting to grow a few years back and having smoked white skunk, Skunk #1 and the like this would seem to be the case.

Thi sicky smell you are after is one i am familiar with - and its not the skunky cheese smell.

Its that ammonia, catch the back of your throat/top of your pallate/nostrills smell. The pungent sweet smell with that sickly tinge to it.

ITs a smell that only those who have smelt it before know of. Like i said, its that old skool late 90's early 200's smell and aint nothin like cheese. I think it was strong white strains..... but now a lot of white weeds dont smell of much

Dumb question alert but does diesel weed smell and taste like diesel. I am currently growing world of seeds new york special/diesel but it aint smelling of fuel. Also doing mazar kush and that smells pungent and hashy, bloody lovely...

i have smoked nycd, and it was fruity not deisely, and not all that strong,

however 2 out 5 , of my jacky white were so grapefruity , that by 8 weeks it became an intense deisel smell, actual like you had desiel on your fingers, after a cure it was the best creamy smoke, with a lovely coffee, i miss it dearly

had some church recently which smelt like sick, really nice smoke got proper stoned from it was great

A lot of strains will smell like baby sick if they are pressed together and stored like that, just like the stuff that comes from abroad............

i do the same, if i have some pukka weed i stash it and limit myself between smoking whats usually described as shitty dealer weed (not contaminated mind!)

I can't get over the smells the cheese varietys produce but i definately remember the great stuff from the late 90's/early noughties, u'd know what u were getting before you got to the dealers door cos u could smell it half a mile away! I remember cos that was my introduction to green after smoking bar . Everything since has gone down in quality apart from the odd few batches of cheese or G-13 round these parts!

I miss that stinky stuff, only names i used to hear back then were white widow and orange bud but i doubt it was one of these!

I have just aquired a bit of what i can only describe as the fruitiest s**t i have smoked in a long time. It smells of zoo s**t and sickly sweet fruit in equal measures, makes you recoil when you first smell it but when you get your nose in there it is a delight. Smoke wise it hits all the right spots too which is a rare pleasure. Only problem is it has put my stash to shame and getting a cut would mean blowing my cover.

Had a pheno of blackwidow which almost made a mate throw up in the bag when he stuck his face in there. Real pungent. Can't take that stuff anywhere though. I walked into a shop with a few joints in a bag in my pocket. By the time I got to the fridge the kid behind the counter was trying to buy green off me. He could smell it as soon as I came through the door and an oz of that would stink a whole house out within seconds of walking through the door. Not sure if this is normal because this is the only black widow pheno I've had. That's the one which springs to mind when I think of skunky, sickly, pungent smells.

Never read the thread before replying but yeah, your right man. That black widow is the one I'd get for a skunky pungent aroma. That's probably the smelliest bud I've ever known. The only downside, which was probably a pheno or bud formation thing, was loose bud compared to normal. Apart from that it was a nice smoke and easily the heaviest smelling weed I've had I'd say. It does have that oldschool skunky smell to it. The one I had was a couple years old when I had it. I think he had that from before I joined here so he probably bought and cracked those seeds in 06. So I'm not sure what you would get now if you got some of that black widow... but yeah your right man, black widow is the white widow to get. Pissed all over the white widows I've had before. Anyway, yeah, that's another vote for blackwidow on the pungent smell front.

the strongest smeeling weed that iv grown was white russian just stank and stank of acrid piney smell that i love but i love any stinky shit the stronger it smells the stronger it usually is weel not always but i think the exitment of smoking smelly weed kind of makes the high better for me

Jackira up our way smells so bad puts cheese and blues to shame hard to describe what it actually smells of but I once stook my head in my m8s growtent and I could have sworn he had taken a dump in there a couple of weeks later his extrator fan had broken and you could smell the fuckers 100 yards down the road

I grew out some white widow from nirvana many yrs ago...It resembled cheese in apperance with massive calyx's stacked on top of each other and very big buds...smell was kind of shitty and the stone was too much.....sadly i didnt take cuts which still hurts to this day...

Sensi star i did 2 yrs ago was a smelly bugger....very much diesel smelling on 2 pheno's and 1 that had a similar smell to UK cheese but with a different edge...oily to the taste...

The BC i currently have stinks...But in a funky way...not sure of the smell but it taste's like it smells and i cant get enough of it...
