What did you expect m8 this is no competition this is a test grow the other is a competition to get as many people as possible to get as many free seeds given out to win a holiday, great marketing ploy though you have to say.

So yeah there will allways be more people with diary's on that other forum and everyone has much the same stuff as each other at least you lot can sit there with genetics nobody else seems to have

I didn't mean I was pissed with my comp grow.. that's not started yet.. I mean my OCF and Bubblegum grows...
Didn't get what I wanted from OCF.. and overdosed the bubblegum something chronic with the Mg. so not very big buds.






Tempted to fire up the Black Widdows man .. but I'm out of space right now.... Its a no go.
Yeah they looking good so far.
I'm also looking for a keeper so I have got my eyes peeled.... Not sure what to expect really ... but i think that makes it more fun sometimes...

i don't think i have ever overdone the mg myself but i have over nuted a fair few times the temptation to give them more than they actually need and so thinking you'll get more bud is unreal but as you found out same as me it just don't work that way

How was the candyfloss not right for you ? the plant had lovely colours if memory serves me right, was it yield or taste or both ?

I think I overdosed to begin wioth on the first dose of Mg.. this didn't change and they locked out N.. I tried to keep up with adding more .. Couldn't work it out and gave them more Mg.. More lockout... added more N again... then they burnt..
School boy error!

The candyfloss was great to grow .. truly stunning to look at .. had all my mates drooling..... but i was only after the purple pheno as a mum.. turns out it was 12/12 autoflowerer..

My guess is all the purple ones are.
Waiting to be proved wrong ...

The taste was different ... pretty nice for a change.
I never really take yeild into consideration TBH.

Just made some adjustments to room .. re-sealed light which wasn't sealed properly so temps were high, and oxygen low..
hopefully this should be an improvement from the last one.

Disinfected all room from last grow... re hung light.

They defo wernt ready for a pot up just yet .. so I gave them a very small feed and whacked em in the big room under 400
I also put them in a bigger tray and spaced em out nice.

Looking good mate. Mine are just a little bit ahead of yours. im finding the GFxIce really easy so far, no problems whatsoever and they're really uniform.Well they seem to be really stable anyway.

I'll pop back in a week or so and have a looksy at the progress dude..

Just went up to the room, with the idea in my head, to make some kill offs (males) and pot ups with what was left... but then I was quickly struck with the realisation that these are from Female Seeds.
10 healthy uniform plants
I couldn't bring myself to kill any and couldn't choose which ones to keep .... so I kept them all...
I will see what happens over this next week now to see what to hold back for flower.

1 thing is..... I topped/fim'ed em and when you get amongst it .. some really have that smell!!!!
First time I've ever smelt it on a plant, and never thought i'd smoked Grapefruit before... but.... I'm already well familerised with that BitterSweet Grapefruit pong. Instantly brought back memorys!

can't wait to bud em!

Dam they do look indeed very uniform and its lovely to see the odd ones has that great smell starting allready i'm in much the same boat put 12 seeds in only need 6 good ones for a scrogg and i will no doubt have to throw a few near the end just for space.

The plants were starting to look hungry so I bit the bullet and choose 6 to flower out.
Making the choice was nei on impossible.. so uniform... and what FAST growers!

I have kept one back as a mother... these last 3 didn't make the cut... although there is nothing wrong with them at all...

I had to re-top them all, 1 node down yesterday, as they were slightly to tall to get under the screen...
Wait for it to fill and I'll 12/12 it ... I'm worried about the flower stretch now though

Odd that they'd only stretch under flo's, interesting though! We iz testing an' all that!

Mine are still tiny, kinda just waiting on my new drobe for them so they don't get too leggy to be honest.

Where did you get your scrog netting btw?
I went into B and Q to get some but they told me i had to buy it by the roll , rather unhelpful.

all my seedlings I have ever done will stretch under that flo.. the wattage is just too low...

Get it done mate ... they soon pick up under the 400W.. good times!
Netting - I got mine from a mate .. he had some spare..

I know you can get some in wilkos pretty cheap... its good shit... worth a few bob like

Mine do the same really not to the extent i have seen a few of these but fluro's have only limited use unless you have say 200-400 watt of fluro in that case you may as well of just changed to a 400watt mh instead....

I'll put mine after 1 week under a 400mh 7200k one as i fin d these sunamster mh produce nice tight internodes and a nice bushy plant ideal for me scrogg

yea man.... the're shit for starting seeds off TBH.. BUT.... keeping my mums under them is perfect!!! they grow real slow .. and new cuts stretch a bit, so i have nice shaped, and tall clones to take.... on top of that .. I couldnt have any more heat generated in that drobe as the two rooms are connected so Bonza!


I should have put the IG's straight under the 400 from seed TBH... but the bubblegums were finishing off, I'm cool with the stretch though.. seems to have worked out nice now i have topped them,...they are fit snug under that screen now

speaking of vegging. I vegged mine with 9 other plants under a single 200w enviro......no stretch realy, but growth is so much slower than the Mh ofcourse

1 minor problem...
there is a plant at the back-centre that has stunted after topping .. hopefully she will pick up as she's behind the rest a bit now... lightned slightly too.
I may have to weave the others to fill the gap.

1 major problem....
watering.
I have got them so close to the net is impossible to water from above....I assumed passive watering would be fine... but I watered them before, from below by filling their trays .. but they arn't very heavy when i pick them up to check weight after...

HOW do you passive feeders ensure the water rises up high in the pots?

Hi Treeman when i scrogged i done the same thing had my pots to close to the screen and it was a nightmare to water the ones at the back of a 1mtr square scrogg so i bought one of those pump spray's with a long lance and took the end off the lance so it didn't spray as such it sent out a stream of water, only thing with that is to make sure you dont pump the bottle to much unless you get a huge blast of water coming out like a rocket but that done the job for me ok.
