Hello Chaps and Chapette's This is my first grow....

i have..
10 White dwarf seeds
10 .25 pots
8 1.5 L pots (Dont ask why i have 8.. im a ass and presumed only 8 would crack biggrin.gif since im a newbie)
10 5L pots..
50L canna coco
10L Perlite
canna A+B Rhizoteric Canna-bloombooster canna pk13/14
Canna Zym

Plastic 5 tier greenhouse (Approx 150cm)

i am going to grow in canna coco.. i have read in places that its better to play auto's into there main pots if you don't really know what your doing as you can hurt the roots.. so mabye i wasted some money buying some pots sad.gif but all is good not too much, i think all i require from the canna range is .. Canna Flush for my plants, im again just using things that i have read in places that works effectivly..

My questions to you..

im going to germinate my seeds by planting them in water for 24 hours then planting them in the soil .. sound method ??

should i just plant them into the 5 L pots ?

Will they grow effectivily in a greenhouse with us not getting many hours of sunlight recently..

how important is the first 3/4 days for sunshine..?

i require some PH up and PH down .. and a PH tester.. what other tools would you say were essential if not important that i will need? (sorry i have really did a lot of research i just don't want to be the fool who was too proud to ask)

i have a water cooler that filters the water.. should i use this instead of tap water.. i hear tapwater is bad for the ph of soil and for the plants.. well english tap water.. any recommendations ?

i am just going to plant them into my greenhouse i live in a place thats within about 10 feet of where people could be (my back garden) is this stupid because of the smell? i don't know how badly they smell when in a greenhouse (the smell is my only worry)

Anyone got some experince growing in a greenhouse and... or... growing with White dwarf or any autoflowers in a greenhouse would really be a help, i registerd about a month ago but i have been trying to get all my stuff together.. the weather has been very bad and unforgiving so i have been holding off germinating my seeds.. think this is right? even tho the days will slowly start seeing less light... ?

thankyou again from Dankyukboy i will look foreward to reading the replys, I will start uploading some pictures once i get this shiz started smile.gif Please reply and give me any information or thoughts you have... recomendations or tips would be REALLY appreciated as this is my first growing attempt.

I dont see a edit button sad.gif But i didn't know i couldn't post names of places here my bad, I just thought it would have been a positive thing to say a good word as i thought it was quite halarious me ordering my seeds on saturday 2am and reciving them on sunday that was all, i was also going to post the germination of them and stuff because i have actually heard that the company i bought them from sometimes are a bit dodgy smile.gif

Anyway back to whats important the beans ! i have one or two more questions

When i first plant them should i leave them in my house for the first 4-5 days? i mean i know the english climate is unforgiving especially here in the north sad.gif and i live near a coast how will that effect ?

and once again i ask is there anything im missing out? thankyou for your time.

what do you want ph up/down for? you're using compost right?

if its not a problem id keep them indoors till theyve established themselves smile.gif

Coco coir i am using, is that a form of compost? (Sorry im new and well fairly bad at this as i guess we all were when we start) smile.gif

i just wanted ph up and down because i have read in places that people using coco coir should try to keep it around 5.8 to 6.3.. Please correct me if i am wrong but PH is quite important no ?

I would be much appreciative of anyone who will give me some tips, :

I've no experience growing in coco but it I hope it all goes very well for you biggrin.gif . If they grow well you will need larger than the 5l pots, dwarf autos grow a lot of roots for their size. Personally I would pot up gradually even though they are autos.

Edited to add: Smell could be a problem for you, especially if you get a decent number of girls and have them all in flower at the same time, can you get some other stinky plants around to drown out the canna smell? I would get them goin straight away, we have nice long days and the best of the summer sunshine should hopefully be just around the corner.
