Hey peoples smoke.gif

I started me essence brew this morning and when checking the plants about half hour ago I noticed me yellow trap had caught what first looked like an adult thrip but now I think it could be a fungus gnat, anyway in my panic I sprayed most of my girls with westlands bug attack, (most, as I have run out of WBA). Will it still be okay to apply the essence this evening before lights off?

Also another question relating to essence/plant magic

If I need to foilar feed with epsoms to treat mg def, could the epsoms be added to the essence brew and everything done in one hit?

3 days into flower and after reading after spraying I realise that westlands bug attack should really be only used in veg.

btw, the traps have only caught this one beastie and they have been in there 5 days now, so maybe a panic about nothing?

cheers for any replies in advance.

Bug attack will not harm essence applied after the insecticide has dried.Thiametoxam is nasty stuff, not too good for you.

Add your dissolved epsom salts and mix with your essence just before spraying.

Thank you OT1.

It is thrips, they are in the greenhouse too, long battle ahead but have noted what you have said in another thread regarding creating a super species and will use soap flakes to try and control this, applying sharp sand now would be akin to shutting the stable door.

Once again Thank you OT1.

Not wanting to start another article about epsom salts with essence applications, I am a bit puzzled about how much to add.. right now I have an essence brew (currently 10 hours) 1 litre of essence brewing in a jug and another litre of water bubbling away.. would it be 2 teaspoons of epsom salts as the total essence brew with catalyst and bio wetter is 2 litres or just the 1 teaspoon? sorry to be a pain but will be applying the essence around 8.30 tonite and will err on the side of caution if need and only use 1 tsp but for future reference this little "grey" area can be sorted.

Also could i mix in the bio bizz grow and bloom mix and foilar feed all the way through? or would traditional watering the compost with nutes be the best way?

I am really enjoying essence, I see the difference compared to my previous grow, it is immense and wondering if one could include the nutes with the brew, would still water the compost but with plain water.

Many thanks in advance to replies given.
