Hi
I got different grows going on at different stages and in different spots, so I'm gonna keep of all of them in one diary instead, a lot easier.
First year, i've been abit eager, but things are going well so far.
I am currently growing:
-Great white shark
-Big Bang
-Biddy Early

-some unknown seeds
1 GWS and 2 Big bangs have been growing steady for a while now... just recently germed and planted 5xBiddy and 15xBig Bang, still waiting for them to come up... Put another 3 Biddy's straight into compost and they have sprouted, along with another unknown seed. I've also just taken clones from the bigger Big Bang and the Great white shark. Planning to use fish blood and bone plant and flower feed mix as fertilizer. I have organic bug spray aswell. Being grown in John Innes2
Any advice appreciated
Here are some pics:
PIC1-3biddy + 1unknown
PIC2- Unsprouted Biddy's + some unknown
PIC3- The smaller big bang
PIC4 - bigger BIG BANG
PIC5-2xBigBang + the GWS
What do you think then ?

Cheers for the support guys,
really excited about growing biddy early's Bad penny, they were my choice
Here's a pic of the 15 Big Bangs. They have been guerilla'd from the start (except germination). I checked up on em today and most of them have shot up and are lookin' good! I've got them in a unheated propagator but they will not be able to stay in there for long because they are growing tall quickly, I am worried in what to do for the next step; when they come out of the propagator. They will still be very young and venerable, what precautions can I take to give the plants a high survival rate in the great outdoors??
cheers once again

Not sure if you'll get away with it fella (very risky) but for the time being ive got some minature polly tunnels out at about 2.5 meters long and 2ft high with each end having an entrance but like i said very risky and easy to spot for people walking past or the eye in the sky.

I don't really have to worry about them getting found so much, and the spot is partially covered by trees so it is generally quite safe. If they get found, they get found.
How much are polly tunnels? Where can I buy them? Are there any alternative methods for keeping young plants safe?
wish me luck!

Thats my thoughts too, something like 3 quid each mate of a well known auction site, i made him an offer as i wanted a few and he accepted so i got quite a good deal.
You got a PM fella.

On second thoughts, a poly tunnel might not be the most practical option. Will still give it some consideration though
Would chicken wire, slug pellets, bug spray, tying them to toothpicks, and regular check ups be enough to keep these plants alive? anything else?

chicken wire, envorimentally friendly slug pellets.
copper tape.
some support for the plants to grow up till they have strong stems or at least adequate stems.
also if you can, before you put them out,
simulate wind with a fan to add some stem strength and get them used to it.
those plants are very very stretched so i think this step with a fan may be important for those babies

Hello!! It's been too long, sorry.. it's hard for me to get a chance to get pics on this.
Anyway, A quick update on whats growing:
There are only 5 BIGBANG plants left from the 15 that were guerilla'd, they hve been moved to a windowsill for a rescue mission
There are another 3 developed big bangs of which one has been pinched out. All very healthy.
2 Great white sharks, one being the biggest (and pinched) of the lot, and the other being small
1 white widow, doing pretty well
3 biddy early, still young but growing well
1 random jamaican plant, (i love the way this one grows, its only tiny but it looks lovely.)
1 small big bang clone + another great white clone that looks as if it will die.
10 durban poison by nirvana seeds. Just germed these (9/10 rate) and so far 2 have come up so i think most of the others will. I love to grow.
What im using.. all the same as before but slug pellets as well now because i had a close call with those fuckkerz.
Now... TIME FOR SOME PICS! theyre a few days old but it will just encourage me to update again sooner

First two pics:
The durban seeds and the first two of them to come up.
All good for me got a bit of nice old natural homegrown leaves n shakes just for a nice mellow none of that dealer skunk messing my brain cells!

Here's a close up of the great white shark, i've been forgetting to turn them so this pic shows the less developed side, I will let this side catch up and then switch them regularly. I haven't got pics of the White widow or the younger big bang. I'll put em up soon

Repotted them into bigger pots, managed to snap the biggest plants stem though. :'(
Got it propped with a splint, 2 days later it is still looking green + healthy just a bit lob-sided, will hopefully make a full recovery!

heres the wild flowers from the plants above ^^^
I chopped em today due to the good weather weve had. I didnt think my plants could even survive october at first! what a pleasant suprise.
they are big bangs. It wasnt the best spot and I still have a fair few things to learn, so the buds werent very big but they are nice and crystaly and have many nodes, and one of them turned purple what more can you ask for in the beginning of your journey into discovering the sacred herb. im happy with the harvest.
This picture here shows two side branches that crept out from the bottom/middle for sunlight. I just though they made a wonderful picture

One of the branches of the purple big band became very white, I hope its crystals but fear it may be something else... anyone know what it is?
heres some close ups.
this also happened a little to my white widow

the other guerilla big bang- the oneon the right, was less mature, but i picked it due to the time of the year and to see the differences in the two
THE purple one is just another shot of the more matured big bang
I would love to hear any feedback and advice for next year!
