Hey all. First time grower here, looking for a few nice female (or possibly regular) seeds. The main thing I want from the seeds, is a high yield whilst retaining a hard high and one that doesn't grow too tall! I'm planning on doing a scrog, anyhow.

Was considering going with a "Grow XXX" variety as it seems they are reasonably cheap for what strains they offer. Considering the Bubblegum a lot... Can anyone swerve me at all? Remember I'm a first time grower so I guess some level of simplicity is needed however, I will have the time to be dedicating to this over the summer - so its not a necessity.

Quick update, I've just ordered 10 Seedsman Skunk #1 and 1 Big Buddha Blue Cheese. I feel for my first grow, that I'll have time to spend on I need to learn the basis of sexing plants and have therefore gone for a regular variety. Anyone got any feedback on how I'll get on with these?

you canot go wrong with skunk no1 ,its a high yeilder and easy to grow,thats 1 of the strains i started with,and b buddha blue cheese is ok to,good plant the cheese.r you growing in soil ? good luck and keep ya grow on the down low....class b my arse.legalize or overgrow

Good choices imho Seedsman's Sk#1 is meant to be the same as Flying Dutchman's The Pure, which I love. It's very forgiving, ideal for a 1st time grower and it has a generous yield ime. I have one in now alongside various other strains and I was delighted to get a girl just show her pistils

Blue Cheese is a top strain as well I think (got a coupla them in too)

I think you made a good call buying regular seeds too - sexing's easy with all the knowledge on 420 and it's a good thing to know how to do

Wicked, yeah theres so much help available here I thought I could manage the sexing part. I heard the same thing about it being the same as 'The Pure', an excellent strain I've heard. Just a tad' worried about growing 10 of these in my grow space, however I won't be keeping the males in there for long I guess. I went for the Blue Cheese as I've always fancied a good cheese variety but haven't a prayer of locating any around where I live.
